Resort a Taiwan

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

"The location is excellent, right on the beach with reef full of fish, turtles within easy reach. Staff was very helpfull dealing with our canceled flight and helping us find alternative way back to Noumea."

We visited in rainy season season so we got stuck in the room one whole day. Facilities are a bit tired and could do with refreshment.

Design del bagno un po' datato

L’ho prenotato perché pensavo di poter usufruire della spa dopo una giornata intera nel sito archeologico ma è tutto a pagamento compreso il bagno turco (mai visto in un hotel 5 stelle). In più la spa è quasi inesistente. Non funzionava il riscaldamento nella nostra stanza (cosa non piacevole a Febbraio) e dopo varie discussioni e diverse versioni sui fatti con il personale al telefono ci è stata consegnata una stufetta elettrica in stanza che chiaramente non abbiamo potuto usare durante la notte. Ci è stato proposto di cambiare stanza ma ormai erano le 11 di sera.

L’unica cosa che si potrebbe migliorare (ma penso sia un problema di qualsiasi posto così vicino al mare) I cattivi odori di umidità e delle fogne provenienti dal bagno.

주변에 식당이없다보니 골드카드로 갔는데 식사를 그나마 괜찮은건 마젤란이었는데 3박동안 가려니 너무 질리더라구요 사이판pic처럼 좀더 다양한 레스토랑이 있었으면 좋겠어요

"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

IL MARE NON ERA LIMPIDISSIMO E DI DIFFICILE ACCESSO (SPIAGGIA IN DISCESA E ROCCE SUL BAGNASCIUGA

"Ho soggiornato per 5 notti con tre prenotazioni diverse. Prime due notti in una camera e le altre tre in villa. Sicuramente la villa è stupenda. 169mq su tre piani. Con ogni confort per toglierti la voglia di uscire al di fuori dal resort. Il servizio shuttle per scendere alla reception e ai servizi primari. la cortesia del personale, gentilissimi ed educati. Una colazione veramente ottima. Servizi in spaiggia ottimi. Buona, in generale, la cucina per quanto riguarda la qualità, a pranzo e cena."

La camera per i primi due giorni non era il massimo. Le porzioni proposte a pranzo e cena piccole e non in linea con i prezzi. Ristorante italiano decisamente da evitare. La spiaggia, con servizi ottimi, non era all'altezza, nè di Santa Lucia, nè di questo splendido resort.

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"Great location, nice beach, very good food, versatile facilities, very good for families."

Organised tours available for guests from tourist agencies, for self organised guests rent-a-car is the only option for sightseeing. Some facilities require better maintenance.

Il cibo, praticamente tutto arabo. Non era stagione per gli italiani ma mi sarei aspettata un menu più internazionale. Direi che è stata l unica cosa negativa

Alcune cose ad esempio asciugamani, lenzuola, phon necessitano di essere rimpiazzati. Sono usurati e fanno apparire l’hotel come poco confortevole quando invece ha tantissimo potenziale.

"La colazione era ricca e completa. Peccato che non sempre al ristorante c'era qualcuno che parlasse inglese, o spagnolo, ma solo francese. La posizione è ottima, proprio sul Lago, e il ristorante ha una posizione molto romantica. A Gennaio faceva troppo freddo per utilizzare la piscina."

La zona attorno non mi è piaciuta. Venditori che ti assalgono in continuazione per venderti qualcosa ad ogni costo, Inoltre volevamo fare una passeggiata sulle dune per vedere l'oceano ma in molti ce l'hanno sconsigliato perchè ci sono delinquenti che ti rapinano. Quindi abbiamo solo dormito e siamo andati via. Ah: il Lago Rosa non è per niente Rosa, dicono sia stato rovinato dagli scarichi delle acque delle zone che stanno costruendo attorno.

We would have preferred for our rooms to be closer together however we appreciate that the hotel was able to accommodate our additional request to have the rooms on the first floor in order to accommodate my elderly mom.

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

"Il residence è molto grande dotato di ogni comfort. All'arrivo ci hanno fatto l'upgrade gratuito e ci hanno assegnato un appartamento molto grande. Letti grandi e comodi. TV con canali satellitari. Cucina compresa di ogni comfort. Due balconi vista campagna. Abbiamo usufruito della piscina la coperto che dopo le 16 è aperta anche ai bambini. Spiaggia privata, spa e 3 ristoranti dove poter mangiare. Colazione ottima e abbondante sia quella dolce, sia quella salata. Personale molto cortese. Abbiamo lasciato la macchina nel parcheggio per un giorno al costo di 3 euro"

Nel bagno l'acqua non scendeva bene. Per una notte ok altrimenti avremmo chiamato per la sistemazione.
