"This motel was a wonderful surprise! The location is excellent, and the entire place is exceptionally clean. The room design is elegant and tasteful, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt very well cared for, and the cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommended!"

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the layout — the bed is a bit close to the entrance door, which made the space feel slightly tight at times.

In alcune stanza (ho viaggiato con amici) si sono dimenticati i tappeti della doccia e alcune salviette e in una stanza era assente l'asciugacapelli, penso che in una struttura di questo tipo con il costo che ha certe dimenticanze non siano ammesse.

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

"The breakfast was good and well balanced. The place has very beautiful villas. I like the privacy that the place provided. Great views. Great scenery Staff are very kind and professional. Language is a barrier especially if you are an English speaker. Very clean place. Great music at the La Marine restaurant. Great restaurant staff. Great food"

Despite the well balanced breakfast, I ate the same breakfast for the entire period of my stay. This was predictable and monotonous . The breakfast was standard, meaning that I had no choice in terms of portion, variety and pricing. I expected to find cooking pots and utensils in the kitchen to allow me the option of cooking and preparing anything . I wish the hotel provided information on places to be visited within the vicinity and information regarding the most recent COP29

"Exceptional staff that turn this hotel into an unforgettable getaway. The whole place truly transports you somewhere else. The staff, coming from all over the Caribbean, were incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay feel genuinely special. The owner was fantastic—always present, talking with us, sharing stories, and really bringing them to life. It has been a delightful trip and a wonderful stay. We travelled with kids and it was the perfect set up. There are no real windows (only blinds and mosquito nets), so when the kids got loud, the neighbors could hear us. However room ventilation is really good, as there is a nice breeze at night. The location is also very convenient, well connected to both the north and the south. The food was surprisingly very good for a 4 night stay, breakfast was delicious. The pool and surroundings are wonderful. Would stay here every time I go back to Dominica."

"We liked the location with very close proximity to the beach, pools and restaurants.Staff were overall very friendly and welcoming.The range of restaurants was great and the food superb. We ate at them all (Sensai, Blue Moon, Il Mascherati di Venizia, Route 66, Margarita and El Carey/ La Tortuga ) with the only exception being Villa Marina, which proved problematic to book a table. The beach was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers available.Our room was a good size and cleaned by the staff daily with lovely little touches like fresh flowers and abundant clean towels and shampoo/conditioner."

On arrival it would have been helpful to have had it explained that all information regarding booking restaurants, knowing the daily entertainment schedule and viewing menus etc was on the hotel app. It was three days before we realised this! We didn't like the branded drinks being charged as extras. If you like certain brands of drink you will be charged for them. Local equivalent drinks are only covered in the standard all inclusive package. Three of the restaurants have a pre-booking policy. It states on the app that these can be booked from 07-30 each day. We found that if you left it until 07-30 most of the tables had been booked. Therefore the earlier you get up to book a table, the better your chances of securing a place in the restaurant of your choice. Frustratingly, we were not able to book a table at Villa Marina during our two week stay. Every time we tried it was fully booked:this was incredibly disappointing!!!! Finally, a WARNING to other visitors. One day when we were on our way to lunch, we were duped with an offer of a free massage if we were prepared to give up twenty minutes of our time to hear about the membership deals on offer by the hotel group. Two hours later, after a non stop, in your face , hard sell by the sales team we couldn't take any more and walked out. Thankfully, we were mature and strong willed enough to resist the sales team. Many others probably capitulate and sign for a deal they may reflect later they do not want. Investing between 10,000 and 20,000 dollars is no joke, especially when they don't want to give you time to reflect on the deal and decide in a calm and balanced way. The whole process spoiled the last few days of our holiday and we hope others see this comment and are forewarned and refuse to be tricked into accepting offers of "free" massages or goody bags.

L’ho prenotato perché pensavo di poter usufruire della spa dopo una giornata intera nel sito archeologico ma è tutto a pagamento compreso il bagno turco (mai visto in un hotel 5 stelle). In più la spa è quasi inesistente. Non funzionava il riscaldamento nella nostra stanza (cosa non piacevole a Febbraio) e dopo varie discussioni e diverse versioni sui fatti con il personale al telefono ci è stata consegnata una stufetta elettrica in stanza che chiaramente non abbiamo potuto usare durante la notte. Ci è stato proposto di cambiare stanza ma ormai erano le 11 di sera.

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

"La piscina è top, soprattutto per la bimba che si è divertita tantissimo con gli scivoli. E' solo molto affollata. Colazione top, tanta scelta, tutto sommato anche per la nostra bimba celiaca. La cena a buffet aveva tanta scelta, un pò meno per i celiaci ma erano indicati in chiaro gli allergeni. Molto bella anche la zona un pò più per gli adulti, piscina con acqua termale, area esterna con acqua riscaldata e l'aera saune. Bongo kids club bellissimo. Belli anche gli spettacoli serali nel periodo ancora di festa. La struttura è molto bella e nuova."

Non ci è piaciuto il servizio di pulizia nelle stanze, trovavamo solo il letto rifatto ma il bagno non veniva pulito, mai nei tre giorni in cui abbiamo alloggiato.
