"Tutto. È la prima volta che vorrei dare un punteggio oltre 10 per questa struttura. Se fate una sosta a Doha, questo è il miglior hotel che potete scegliere! Vicino all'aeroporto, molto bello, piscina e spiaggia inclusa, vista sulla skyline di Doha, staff molto gentile e super preparato (anche troppo), colazione eccezionale. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto buono. Quest'hotel mi fa sognare un prossimo viaggio per fare una sosta a Doha."

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.

"La colazione era ricca e completa. Peccato che non sempre al ristorante c'era qualcuno che parlasse inglese, o spagnolo, ma solo francese. La posizione è ottima, proprio sul Lago, e il ristorante ha una posizione molto romantica. A Gennaio faceva troppo freddo per utilizzare la piscina."

La zona attorno non mi è piaciuta. Venditori che ti assalgono in continuazione per venderti qualcosa ad ogni costo, Inoltre volevamo fare una passeggiata sulle dune per vedere l'oceano ma in molti ce l'hanno sconsigliato perchè ci sono delinquenti che ti rapinano. Quindi abbiamo solo dormito e siamo andati via. Ah: il Lago Rosa non è per niente Rosa, dicono sia stato rovinato dagli scarichi delle acque delle zone che stanno costruendo attorno.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"This motel was a wonderful surprise! The location is excellent, and the entire place is exceptionally clean. The room design is elegant and tasteful, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt very well cared for, and the cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommended!"

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the layout — the bed is a bit close to the entrance door, which made the space feel slightly tight at times.

"Everything was perfect : - the environnement is beautiful - the bungalows are spacious and with all comfort needed (except the cold shower) - the team is very sweet and welcoming - the food is delicious and generous"

Only the lack of internet. There are no connexion even with data. So it can be frustrating when connexion is needed (to check flight for exemple)

"Ho soggiornato per 5 notti con tre prenotazioni diverse. Prime due notti in una camera e le altre tre in villa. Sicuramente la villa è stupenda. 169mq su tre piani. Con ogni confort per toglierti la voglia di uscire al di fuori dal resort. Il servizio shuttle per scendere alla reception e ai servizi primari. la cortesia del personale, gentilissimi ed educati. Una colazione veramente ottima. Servizi in spaiggia ottimi. Buona, in generale, la cucina per quanto riguarda la qualità, a pranzo e cena."

La camera per i primi due giorni non era il massimo. Le porzioni proposte a pranzo e cena piccole e non in linea con i prezzi. Ristorante italiano decisamente da evitare. La spiaggia, con servizi ottimi, non era all'altezza, nè di Santa Lucia, nè di questo splendido resort.

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

prezzi di bar, servizio buffet per la cena, ristorante, assolutamente sproporzionati. Cenato fuori quasi sempre e dopo il primo giorno all'arrivo, più preso niente al bar. La sera al ristorante a buffet si rischia come è successo a noi di fare la cosa di 20 minuti per potersi sedere

"Struttura molto curata, elegante ed estremamente pulita, direttamente sul mare. Offre un’ottima cucina variata grazie ai numerosi ristoranti, tutti molto buoni. Lo staff è molto disponibile e gentile. Abbiamo apprezzato le molte attività proposte, adatte sia per i bambini che per gli adulti, il campo da golf integrato nella struttura, la piscina dei bambini con lo scivolo e le cascate e il magnifico mare con l’immensa spiaggia."

"I bungalow fronte mare sono molto belli. La natura è rigogliosa. Lo staff gentile e premuroso. Il ristorante è sufficientemente vario. La piscina comoda (c'è stato qualche problema di filtro quando ci siamo stati noi). L'animazione non è soffocante. La spiaggia di fronte è stupenda. Frequentato soprattutto da australiani e asiatici."

Direi tutto bene, solo il wi-fi è da migliorare

"Bella struttura posizionata sul più bel tratto di spiaggia di Grace Bay, a sud la spiaggia si restringe molto e risulta affollata. La stanza è un appartamento molto ampio con due stanze e due bagni con tutte le stanze che vedono il mare, anche se non sono beach front."

Da migliorare l’offerta del cibo, non la qualità, che risulta molto ripetitivo soprattutto a pranzo; la chiusura alternata dei ristoranti la sera non favorisce gli ospiti nella scelta dei pasti.

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"
