Resort in Brunei

"La colazione a buffet era di ottima qualita' e la locazione sul mare, rivolta a ovest era perfetta."

Non tutti i frutti erano disponibili ogni mattina. L'acqua putroppo non ha un gusto gradevole.

"Bella struttura posizionata sul più bel tratto di spiaggia di Grace Bay, a sud la spiaggia si restringe molto e risulta affollata. La stanza è un appartamento molto ampio con due stanze e due bagni con tutte le stanze che vedono il mare, anche se non sono beach front."

Da migliorare l’offerta del cibo, non la qualità, che risulta molto ripetitivo soprattutto a pranzo; la chiusura alternata dei ristoranti la sera non favorisce gli ospiti nella scelta dei pasti.

The location was a little to the edge of the city but that may be a good thing for some looking for peace & quiet. The decor is a bit dated

In alcune stanza (ho viaggiato con amici) si sono dimenticati i tappeti della doccia e alcune salviette e in una stanza era assente l'asciugacapelli, penso che in una struttura di questo tipo con il costo che ha certe dimenticanze non siano ammesse.

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

Couldn’t find any ramp which could be wheel chair friendly. A ramp could be introduced for ease of moving luggage’s and for elderly people.

"La camera è ampia, dotata di spazio cottura per la colazione (troppo costosa quella fornita in struttura), ben illuminata. Posizione ottima, vicinissima ad un'ampia e meravigliosa spiaggia (attrezzata) nonchè al villaggio di Oistins. Giardini ben curati e varie piscine a disposizione."

La struttura è un po' vecchiotta anche se funzionale. A mio parere potrebbero esserci maggiori piccole attenzioni, visto il costo delle camere, ad esempio: il kit del bagno terminato dopo un paio di giorni non è stato sostituito, la luce del mio comodino non funzionava, l'acqua del lavandino del bagno nono scorreva (e ho dovuto dopo una paio di giorni segnalarlo), lo zucchero in cucina è terminato e non è stato integrato.

The food in the restaurant was very poor - surprisingly for a country like Kyrgyzstan where generally the food is excellent

Alcune cose ad esempio asciugamani, lenzuola, phon necessitano di essere rimpiazzati. Sono usurati e fanno apparire l’hotel come poco confortevole quando invece ha tantissimo potenziale.

The breakfest is great, they have also a private beach the pool was clean and all the area was clean the room was good too

"Loved this hotel! It's about a 25 minute golf cart ride from the centre of the island so it's a little way out but it's quiet and peaceful. Just dusty because the road is unpaved at the moment. The staff were incredible, everyone super friendly, professional and helpful. It was a windy few days for us so we couldn't get to use the beach much but another 20 minutes on is Secret Beach so we would go there instead. The pool here is great, plenty of loungers and space for everyone to relax. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and shower powerful!! Brilliant value for money and we even got a free upgrade. Would definitely stay here again but you definitely need to hire a golf cart to get around the island. Perfect for if you want to get out the real hum of the island but there are still plenty of food places nearby."

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

non mi e piaciuto lo spreco alimentare che fanno le persone veramenete disgustoso solo perche non pagano il cibo si riempiono piattie vanzano cibo poi da buttare pero' la struttura non centra ci vorrebbe un reposnsabile che spiegasse a queste persone che il cibo non va sprecato che e sempre disponibile per tutti.

"La colazione era ricca e completa. Peccato che non sempre al ristorante c'era qualcuno che parlasse inglese, o spagnolo, ma solo francese. La posizione è ottima, proprio sul Lago, e il ristorante ha una posizione molto romantica. A Gennaio faceva troppo freddo per utilizzare la piscina."

La zona attorno non mi è piaciuta. Venditori che ti assalgono in continuazione per venderti qualcosa ad ogni costo, Inoltre volevamo fare una passeggiata sulle dune per vedere l'oceano ma in molti ce l'hanno sconsigliato perchè ci sono delinquenti che ti rapinano. Quindi abbiamo solo dormito e siamo andati via. Ah: il Lago Rosa non è per niente Rosa, dicono sia stato rovinato dagli scarichi delle acque delle zone che stanno costruendo attorno.

"Il residence è molto grande dotato di ogni comfort. All'arrivo ci hanno fatto l'upgrade gratuito e ci hanno assegnato un appartamento molto grande. Letti grandi e comodi. TV con canali satellitari. Cucina compresa di ogni comfort. Due balconi vista campagna. Abbiamo usufruito della piscina la coperto che dopo le 16 è aperta anche ai bambini. Spiaggia privata, spa e 3 ristoranti dove poter mangiare. Colazione ottima e abbondante sia quella dolce, sia quella salata. Personale molto cortese. Abbiamo lasciato la macchina nel parcheggio per un giorno al costo di 3 euro"

Nel bagno l'acqua non scendeva bene. Per una notte ok altrimenti avremmo chiamato per la sistemazione.

L’unica cosa che si potrebbe migliorare (ma penso sia un problema di qualsiasi posto così vicino al mare) I cattivi odori di umidità e delle fogne provenienti dal bagno.
