Hotel in Sierra Leone

"Posizione in centro città….la colazione presentava varietà di prodotti dolci e salati, ma noi abbiamo preso poco…… il caffè e il latte sono di macchinetta… All’arrivo abbiamo cenato , assieme ad un amico, restando tutti molto soddisfatti!"

Per la città in cui si trova, e’ davvero un buon hotel….ho apprezzato che vi è uno spazio attrezzato per i bambini e l’hotel si sta anche ampliando

"La struttura sembra (e forse è ) una vecchia casa vittoriana, veramente molto bella, ben tenuta e pulita. Il contesto è fantastico, si trova sulla montagna sopra Victoria a pochi minuti di auto dalla città; la vista è incredibile e grazie agli ampi spazi comuni aperti si può apprezzare in grande tranquillità e confort. La camera è semplice ma molto spaziosa così come il bagno. Anche qui tutto molto pulito. Menzione speciale per il letto, fatto alla perfezione! Colazione ok anche se c'è poca scelta. Nota positiva: a differenza di altri posti più vicini al mare non ci sono mosche né zanzare."

"Great location, we had a view at the Sisimiut museum. The restaurant staff were very flexible and helpful, they assembled a vegan meal for us, even though there was none in the menu."

"Отель новый, все как на фото и в описании, туалетные принадлежности есть (мыло, гель для душа, шампунь, зубная щетка) , имеются халаты и тапочки, чайник и чашки."

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

"La struttura è moderna ed efficiente, comoda e ben posizionata, si raggiunge facilmente in auto e in due passi ci si trova nel cuore della capitale; si può fruire a proprio agio di simpatici spazi comuni con vista, pur godendo di camere ragionevolmente ampie e ben organizzate, dotate di sale da bagno ottimizzate e letti comodi; l'affaccio della nostra stanza standard garantiva una piacevole vista sull'isola di Nòlsoy e la strada prospiciente non ha creato disturbo. Colazione abbondante e varia, allietata dalla possibilità di preparare waffles al momento; all'accettazione welcoming drink gradito; personale cortese e vivace."

The location is a bit isolated. Would be nice if there was as strip mall or something in the area to go buy stuff.

Taxi costs are high in Cayman so best to rent a car if in this location.

Il servizio è eccezionale, gli host gentilissimi. La struttura mette a disposizione degli ospiti la cucina (in comune) e kayak, attrezzatura per snorkelling e sedie da spiaggia per chi volesse farne utilizzo. Consiglio a chiunque ami i paradisi tropicali e non voglia soggiornare in albergoni senz'anima! Spero di poter tornare presto :)"

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, as well as all the staff members. Big and nice bedroom with a little balcony. This one doesn't offer the best view, but the terrace even more - an absolutely stunning view. The breakfast is good as well as the dinner. You can walk upon a little rock and enjoy sunrise or sundown with a cool drink and a breathtaking view. The lodge is a nice option for the beginning or the end of a Namibia trip because it's located not far away from the airport and only little more than one hour drive from the city of Windhoek."

"Per quello che costa non è male, sembra di stare in un ostello con tutti mini appartamenti"

La pulizia (ho trovato capelli sul letto appena entrata) in generale non era pulito e molti cassetti erano pieni di sporcizia, le finestre erano proprio rovinate e facevi fatica ad aprire, dalla porta finestra in camera entravano insetti in quanto c’era una fessura larga un dito

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

"The rooms were large and clean, the location was very convenient. There was a gas station nearby, so you could buy things at any time. The restaurant downstairs had very tasty meals. Don't forget to try the pizzas! The staff was helpful and friendly. Even though it was close to the highway, you couldn't hear any car noises."

(לצערנו היה סגור) הבקתה הייתה נקייה ויבשה, מיטה זוגית עם ג'קוזי בחדר, ספה נפתחת, אינטרנט, טלוויזיה, מיקרו, מזגן בכל חדר. כל הבקתות אותו דבר עם גלריה למעלה עם 2 מיטות. הבן אהב לשון שם. מגבות החליפו כל יום. בריכה מקורה ומחוממת וסאונה. שחינו כשבחוץ היה +3 מעלות מטבח כללי גדול עם אפשרות לעשות מנגל גם בפנים וגם בחוץ מול נוף המדהים, כמו כן יש גז, אפשר להכין אוכל. בעל הבית מאוד אדיב ונעים, ממש דאג לכל דבר מה שהיינו צריכים. אפשר לקבל ארוחות בוקר בתשלום. עזבנו את המקום עם חוויות טובות. נחזור."

Main dining area felt rather utiltarian. Food was fine , service friendly. The bingo/ karaoke evening was good fun

"Hotel comodissimo al centro raggiungibile in 5 minuti a piedi, camera molto accogliente, arredata in modo semplice ma carinissima, bello il bagno con una super doccia; grande schermo tv 50"; visto lo spazio disponibile suggerirei un piccolo frigo e corredo bollitore. Noi siamo stati benissimo ma nella nostra camera c'era un piccolissima finestrella, non c'era il climatizzatore ma un ventilatore che non abbiamo usato in quanto non è stato necessario ma se vi fosse tanto caldo? Probabilmente a queste latitudini non servirebbe comunque. Consiglio comunque vivamente!!"
