Bed & Breakfast in Sierra Leone

"Fantastica esperienza vivere in una casa balese. Dentro territorio della casa c'è un tempio, casa dei padroni, un laghetto con dei pesci rossi. Padrona è molto presente e disponibile. Ai messaggi risponde sempre e immediatamente. La famiglia è molto gentile, positiva ma non invadente. Colazione è semplice - una frittata, frutta, toast, un buon caffè balese, ma gustosa e servita sul terrazzo con una vista nel cortile pieno di fiori tropicali! Eka, mille grazie per l'ospitalità!"

Si, ci sono i galli che cantano presto, pulizia non perfetta, ma c'è di tutto per provare una esperienza straordinaria ad un prezzo bassissimo!

"È un alloggio semplice, ma con un rapporto qualità prezzo veramente ottimo. La posizione è perfetta, vicino a tutte le attrazioni di Viljandi e anche alla spiaggia, la stanza è spaziosa e confortevole. Ho apprezzato la possibilità di farmi un caffè o un te in camera. C’è un frigorifero. La comunicazione è facile e immediata."

地點比較偏僻一點

"Top!!! Appartamento con poche camere, delizioso, a pochi metri dalla spiaggia, estremamente pulito con una comoda piccola piscina. Il personale gentile ed educato. Il valore aggiunto è sicuramente Anilza, che discrezione, educazione e con un perfetto italiano è pronta a consigliarti ed aiutarti a rendere il soggiorno unico. Inoltre cucina benissimo. Se tornassi a Vilankulos non avrei dubbi e tornerei a casa Mozita!"

Non ho trovato difetti

"El anfitrión era muy amable. Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar en todo y el alojamiento estaba limpio. Tenía buena conexión a internet."

Un poco retirado del centro de Petra. Pero en 30 Minutos caminando se hacía.

"Tutto: la camera luminosa, con tv, condizionatore, asciugamani. La cucina a disposizione, e un ripiano in frigo per noi. Un cortile interno all'aperto. Ci è piaciuta la tranquillità del luogo e Lola e Chani sono stati più che accoglienti; ci siamo sentiti parte della famiglia."

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

"Camera spaziosa, accogliente e molto pulita. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi. Parcheggio disponibile fronte strada. Ottimi anche i pasti, sia la colazione che la cena. Consigliatissimo."

Smaller than I expected.

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"The host was very kind and helpful. He kept me good company and he showed me around his village and Panjakent. The food he served was very good too!"

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

Il problema è che no si può pagare con la carta di credito, questo è stato un problema. In banca non si riesce a prelevare, all Aeroporto idem, son dovuto andare all Hotel Sheraton perché hanno un ATM. Non è finita qui... porto i dinari in hotel ma non va bene perché loro con il cambio ufficiale ci rimettono. E volevano un cambio che dicevano loro... avrei dovuto aggiungere altre 150 euro.. ok alla fine gli ho fatto fare un bonifico dalla società dove lavoro...

"The way they treated me is out of my expectations. They understood my situation of flights cancellation, modification and of course my financial changes. I really loved the staff, cleaning, friendly environment, cooking facilities and much more. Suggests everyone to come and enjoy luxurious facilities at low cost. Hats off to Penthouse Hotel."

Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

Piscina un po’ piccola

"Posizione mozzafiato con panorama e tramonti stupendi. Colazione varia ed abbondante sulla terrazza vista mare. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Camere ampie e ben arredate."

La posizione in collina che ti permette di ammirare il panorama, il mare e la natura, purtroppo implica il guidare (a sinistra) su una strada ripida e molto stretta. Bisogna essere abili guidatori.

"For self catering facilities it is peefect, quiet and have laundry and ao forth included which is reàlly nice... the agent is very reasonable and always there to answer any questions or any concerns... I highly recommend 👌"

If bed mats to be place on both side of the bed and infront the dresser ... but others the property is well equipped.

"Abbiamo soggiornato circa una settimana in una stanza un po’ piccolina, ma resa speciale dall’ospitalità calorosa di Isabelle e della sua mamma. Ogni sera ci hanno deliziato con cene diverse, tutte tipiche e buonissime, condivise con gli altri ospiti: un momento conviviale che ci ha permesso di conoscere tante persone. La presenza dei loro cani adorabili può sorprendere, anche a tavola, ma per noi è stato un valore aggiunto. La posizione è ottima: vicina all’aeroporto ma lontana dal caos, immersa nella tranquillità. È stato il punto di partenza ideale per visitare il sud dell’isola, anche con gite in auto fino a un’ora di distanza (come Le Morne). Consigliatissimo per chi cerca autenticità e accoglienza."

Unico piccolo inconveniente, il wifi in camera non era funzionante, ma l’host è stata subito disponibilissima a trovare una soluzione.

"Sicuramente l'accoglienza della proprietaria, la casa pulita e profumata di fiori e di lavanda faranno sentire a casa ogni ospite. La struttura é leggermente fuori dal paese ma qualche passo in più ne faranno guadagnare in tranquillità e contatto con la natura."

"Excellent location right on the ski slope and very friendly hosts. The accommodation is extremely clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is excellent. WiFi works well, and the property has a ski storage room. Fantastic value for money."

Piscina un po’ piccola

"Struttura eccezionale. Raul è un proprietario molto accogliente e cordiale. Ci ha accolto con il sorriso e fatto sentire subito a casa. Vicino alla casa di Raul c'è una chiesa antichissima dentro la quale Raul ci ha accompagnato. Le camere erano pulite e funzionali. Cena meravigliosa! Bagno condiviso normale."

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

Host speaks only French and is rather unheplful, however I might got such impression because of language barrier ;)

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."
