"Questo Hotel è situato in pieno centro , in un punto strategico , tutte le principali attrazioni di trovano al massimo a 1.5 km di distanza, ma nella maggior parte dei casi sotto il kilometro. Inoltre è situato a pochissimi metri dalla fermata del bus e del tram , e di ben due catene di supermercati . Oltre ad essere posizionato a 50 MT da alcuni ottimi bar e locali . Cordialità impeccabile dei receptionist li presenti. Presente una smart TV in stanza con : Netflix, YouTube, e altre app di utilizzo comune ."

Hotel carsttistico, ma che necessità di ammodernamento, un po' rimasto bloccato nel tempo . Ma comunque un esperienza da provare per via del panorama offerto dal Danubio. Ultima nota, la pulizia della camera avviene solo esponendo un cartello appeso alla porta , non avviene in automatico come in ogni Hotel.

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!

Nulla. Il wc ovviamente bisogna adattarsi. Ma ci sta!

"L'esperienza sul velero e stata davvero unica. Siamo una famiglia di 6 persone con ragazzi ormai già grandi, eppure gli spazi sono stati assolutamente adatti alle nostre esigenze. Certo bisogna essere persone che sanno adattarsi (soprattutto per i bagni), ma se vi piacciono le avventure e le esperienze non convenzionali vale la pena senza ombra di dubbio. Il porto e silenziosissimo e la condizione davvero rilassante. Ci siamo goduti colazioni e aperitivi sul tavolino all'esterno e le cene dopo le escursioni sul grande tavolo interno che invita a lunghe chiacchierate. Se dovessimo tornare a Lanzarote non avremmo alcun dubbio nel tornare qui."

"Vieta super!!! Sagaidīja mūs jauns feins puisis kas visu pastāstīja un parādīja. Ļoti forša vieta,viss tīrs un kajītē viss nepieciešamais. Bijām ar bērniem,bērni stāvā sajūsmā tā pat kā mēs. Iesaku visiem. Noteikti atgriezīsimies."

"A 2 pas du centre historique de Douarnenez sur le port, charmand petit voilier où il fait bon séjourner ; ce n'est pas très grand (normal), mais c'est bien aménagé, et vous avez tout pour passer un bon séjour insolite."

Il peut faire un peu frais et humide (mais nous y étions en février ce qui est normal sur un bateau)
