"A different place to stay. A wood cabin but with all facilities such as fridge, single ring cooker, air conditioning, huge varanda with room for a dining table and chairs plus recliner chairs and a washing rack. Wonderful views of the Duero river. Pick up the train (one kilometre walk away) to Pinhao - 30 minute journey along the edge of the river-for food shopping and long, lazy lunches or to Porto for a day out. Rail fares in Portugal are very cheap and half price if over 65!"

"The location is out of this world! So quiet and so beautiful! The accommodation was excellent and comfortable for our family of 4. The cooking facilities were good and the breakfast was simple but yummy! Louisa was very welcoming and willing to help with everything. It’s close to the train station and we went to Pinhão for the day which was convenient. It was cold when we stayed but the heating in the chalet was more than adequate."

"Excelente localização, alojamento simples mas com todo o conforto. O descanso foi total observando a paisagem deslumbrante. Rodeados pelas arribas e à beira rio, da nossa varanda avistamos a linha do comboio, os passeios de barco... Tudo nos faz querer ficar... fica a promessa de voltar, talvez quem sabe no verão, para admirar o céu estrelado no seu esplendor!"
