Lodge in Nepal

"Hanno un Ecolodge nel deserto, Empty Quarter. Abbiamo prenotato per una notte ed è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Il deserto offre tutto ciò che cercavamo. Silenzio. La guida é eccezionale, con professionalità ti porta laddove sarebbe impossibile arrivare da soli. Segue i tuoi tempi e sempre con estrema cortesia. Abbiamo scalato le dune a piedi e con il fuoristrada, abbiamo fatto il bagno nelle acque sulfuree, ascoltato la notte intorno al fuoco nel nulla… i miei complimenti e ringraziamenti allo staff. Tornerò presto."

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

Nothing - I do not have a bad word to say about Long Lee. It exceeded our expectations and more.

"The room was beautiful opening up to a sea view. Could go kayaking from just outside the room. The lodge had kayaks and life jackets available to guests. Could also go fishing or swimming - just idyllic! The staff were also really helpful. I would most definitely stay here again."

I can’t think of anything i didn’t like

"Posizione ottima di fronte al lago con possibilità di andare a vedere l'aurora boreale in autonomia. Sono stati molto gentili a darci la camera appena arrivati, oltre sei ore prima del check in"

Colazione a pagamento

"Aveva tutto il necessario: da una cucina completamente accessoriata alla lavatrice. Camere grandi come anche la casa stessa. Vista sul mare molto bella. Debbie, la padrona di casa, è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile"

"La casa si trova nel parco di Serra Malagueta e gode di un bel panorama. Le stanze sono semplici ma sistemate e si mangia molto bene."

Purtroppo abbiamo avuto difficoltà perché non c'è stata elettricità (e ne anche acqua!) per parecchie ore.

"Lodge was great with comfortable room, excellent buffet dining room facility and small swimming pool to cool off in between excursions. The highlights are the 2-3 times daily excursions which really make the high cost absolutely worth it. Our guide, Alfredo, was amazing, bi-lingual, sensitive to the local environment and even played the guitar over dinner and breakfast!"

Only downside really is the fact that there is only 1 included boat time to the lodge and back from Iquitos. We had to pay $180 extra for a personal boat because LatAm airlines brought our flight forward - not the lodge's fault, but something to look out for.

"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

Nothing: We actually didn’t book the transfers cause we had another vehicle organised however that fell through. But mama let us go first to the lodge and she’d wait at the airport. Lucky she got a ride back home from the family at airport. She has an immense amount of responsibility and knowledge of the island. As a local to Rarotonga people like her are very rare to be around. I am so grateful to have had crossed paths with her. Na te Atua I tauturu iakoe e Mama Manarangi. Maroiroi koe I toou oraanga. Meitaki atupaka kiakoe no te akonoanga ia tatou.

"Il soggiorno perfetto, con una vista pazzesca ed una tranquillità incredibile. Bungalow grande e dotato di ogni comfort. Peccato esserci stata solo 2 notti."

"Posizione ottima vicino alla splendida baia, il gestore ci ha fatto gustare le sue colazioni e cene ,diverse ogni giorno ed è stato molto disponibile ad esaudire le nostre richieste ."

"Prachtig locatie, uitzicht adembenemend. Mooie kamers en heerlijk zwembad. Erg goed personeel. Pluim voor Eric!"

Het eten en drinken. Er was veel niet aanwezig van wat er op de kaart stond. Zowel van het eten als het drinken. Dat mag niet mogelijk zijn voor de prijs die je betaalt.

"E' a pochi chilometri da Lucerna e facilmente raggiungibile E' un antico cascinale tutto in legno ristrutturato e molto suggestivo (se sei più alto di 1,80 NON andarci, la testa non gradirebbe)"

Il bagno e la doccia in comune sono molto puliti però un bagno e una doccia in comune a 8 stanze, se sono per la maggior parte occupate, presuppongono i turni e non è piacevole nei momenti di punta.

"La struttura si trova subito fuori dall’area protetta del Wadi Rum, l’abbiamo scelta per questo per evitare il turismo di massa dei camping dentro l’area protetta. Ci siamo trovati bene! Molto carina la scalinata che porta su una piccola montagna per vedere alba/tramonto con vista sul panorama splendido."

La biancheria del letto non era pulitissima.

"The surround was lovely and very peaceful. Myself and the entire family sleep comfortably during our stay there. I would recommend to any guest about this property. It was in a safe location as well."

"Arrivare a Pico Bonito è come entrare in un piccolo paradiso terrestre. L'ambiente è pacifico e silenzioso. I colibrì saranno i vostri compagni di viaggio, insieme a tante altre specie animali. Il personale è premuroso e sempre disponibile. Una delle mie cose preferite è la colazione, soprattutto la marmellata all'ananas!! è uno dei nostri posti preferiti al mondo!"

Migliorerei la strada che porta al Lodge, ancora sterrata.

"Très bonne adresse Véronique nous accueil dans un très bel environnement, la belle piscine dans ce jardin luxuriant Belle petite maisonnette avec tout le confort Au calme afin de se baigner après de belles balades. Veronique nous conseils pour visiter au mieux cette belle île Bravo , merci, nous reviendrons"

"Tende e struttura principale meravigliosamente arredate, personale super accogliente (un encomio speciale a Zied, grande professionista e gran bella persona), workshop e attività organizzate molto interessanti, a contatto con la natura, cibo servito eccezionale. Attenzione particolare a fare sentire gli ospiti in un ambiente protetto, senza orari prestabiliti per la cena e per la colazione... Un luogo dove prendersi del tempo, dove ascoltare i propri ritmi e staccare dalla frenesia della città."

La piscina era chiusa per manutenzione e non era segnalato da nessuna parte. Il prezzo è davvero molto molto alto, anche per lo standard europeo e nonostante il personale ci abbia omaggiati di alcuni workshop e un massaggio non so se vale veramente quanto costa.

"Tutto, posto meraviglioso, personale a dir poco perfetto, efficiente, sorridente, gentile. Penso che sia stato il miglior soggiorno della mia vita (e io viaggio molto). La camera con vista fiume era una favola ed era impeccabilmente pulita. Tutto funziona alla perfezione qui. Ti aiutano anche a organizzare tour e trasporti. Complimenti ragazzi, continuate così!"

"We were spoilt with kindness…the staff went out of their way to look after us - even cooking a birthday cake for me at very short notice. The property was very comfortable as and clean and our room looking out into the water holes that the animals came to in the evening and mornings"

"Top. Les propriétaires étaient aux petits soins, les équipements de très bonne qualité. Et le petit déjeuner excellent. Je recommande vivement."

"We spent the first night of our round trip through the north-west of Argentina here. It was a great start. Claudia gave us a very warm welcome. She speaks good English. The cabana was lovingly furnished and we felt at home. We cooked dinner in the evening and had breakfast on the small terrace next to the entrance in the morning. The gardens are well worth a visit! Thank you Claudia :)"
