"Very friendly , easy going hotel with good staff and friendly guests! Wonderful large room with access to sun loungers and the small beach and views over the water( Beach front king).Other places accessible by taxi, if rather expensive!"

Main dining area felt rather utiltarian. Food was fine , service friendly. The bingo/ karaoke evening was good fun

"Davvero bellissimo! Camera con letto molto comodo e vetrate a soffitto per osservazione dell’aurora! Il bagno in condivisione non è stato affatto un problema, pulito e sempre disponibile a pochi passi dalla stanza! Parcheggio a pochi passi e ristorante molto buono. Scelta davvero ottima!"

Camera non molto spaziosa ma è andata benissimo in tutto!

"Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

Il personale non era molto familiare con l'inglese, e nemmeno con il danese. Solo svedese e tedesco sembravano accettati.

"È un piccolo albergo, molto carino e ben tenuto, con poche stanze, in pieno centro del villaggio, si trova davanti a un laghetto delizioso, da parecchie stanze si ha una bella vista sul lago e parte del paese.. Buona l'accoglienza e la disponibilità da parte dei gestori (non francesi) della struttura."

Data la mia età l'assenza di un ascensore è fastidiosa, ma le camere sono facilmente raggiungibili utilizzando le scale perché la struttura è piccola, basta non avere troppi bagagli.

Given that there are no other places close to the hotel where you can buy food , the hotel restaurant should have more choices of food.

"Something was left at the hotel . Rang after three hours . They had found it and kept it safely . Full marks !!!"

"The rooms were large and clean, the location was very convenient. There was a gas station nearby, so you could buy things at any time. The restaurant downstairs had very tasty meals. Don't forget to try the pizzas! The staff was helpful and friendly. Even though it was close to the highway, you couldn't hear any car noises."

"J’avais choisi El rancho au vu de sa proximité avec le centre ville de Grand bourg et aussi parce que le petit déjeuner était compris… Malheureusement ce n’était pas le cas . "After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset. La colazione era molto abbondante e varia ed in più c'era un menù di uova dove si poteva richiedere di cucinare omlette, uova strapazzate ecc... La camera era molto grande e ben tenuta con tutte le comodità, tv in soggiorno e in camera da letto, aria condizionata. I prezzi del ristorante dell'hotel sono in linea con i ristoranti che si trovano fuori e il cibo non è male."

"The staff at the hotel was very friendly. After checking my ID and hotel reservation, he quickly helped me complete the check-in process. The whole thing took about 10 minutes."

There was some water on the bathroom floor, which I guess was caused by a leaking pipe. It did affect the overall experience a bit.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, as well as all the staff members. Big and nice bedroom with a little balcony. This one doesn't offer the best view, but the terrace even more - an absolutely stunning view. The breakfast is good as well as the dinner. You can walk upon a little rock and enjoy sunrise or sundown with a cool drink and a breathtaking view. The lodge is a nice option for the beginning or the end of a Namibia trip because it's located not far away from the airport and only little more than one hour drive from the city of Windhoek."

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.
