"Zona ok! parcheggiato in strada senza problemi, vicino c'è un buon ristorante (per la sera senza camminare lontano), colazione buonissima come dicono tutte le recensioni! La sera ci sono i giochi per passare del tempo (battaglia navale). Noi avevamo una matrimoniale molto grande e pulita."

Appena messa a letto mi hanno punto la gamba più volte, e la mattina anche il mio ragazzo. per sicurezza ho dormito vestita.

"Bellissimo ostello, vicino al centro ed in un quartiere caratteristico, camera da 4 piccola, ma lo sapevamo ed era proprio solo per dormirci, gli spazi comuni invece sono molto grandi e il personale é super disponibile. Colazione continentale buona. Ci hanno anche fatto usare il ripostiglio comune per mettere tutta la strumentazione musicale che avevamo, per non lasciarla in macchina nel parcheggio, comunque privato, dell’hostel ma adicente alla strada. In definitiva lo consiglio. Grazie, alla prossima!"

"Si tratta di un ostello, con camerate e un paio di camere doppie, bagni e cucina in comune. Le camere doppie, seppur spartane, sono abbastanza confortevoli, e anche i bagni sono puliti e decorosi (ce ne sono 2 privati, di cui uno con docce e due insieme a lavandini, altre docce e lavatrici). Cucina piuttosto grande e sala con i tavoli sono in comune. Fuori c'è uno spazio per tende e camper. Ma il punto di forza sono il proprietario Kristjan e il suo gattone rosso. Krjstian è molto simpatico e disponibilissimo a dare info sul tempo e sulle escursioni"

Quando è affollato da gente non avvezza all'igiene, l'aria diventa un po' pesante. Non certo per colpa dello staff, che fa di tutto per mantenere il posto sempre decoroso

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

"Fantastic location. I had a private room and bathroom. Fantastic. Quiet, helpful staff and a great location. Loved it. Super close to walking up the hill for a great view over the city and close to all key sites in the old city. Inexpensive and good value. I didn't eat breakfast there as there is a wonderful garden cafe 1 min walk in the same street which is lovely for good coffee and food."

Hot water was a little temperamental and loo leaked.

"Just that the main gate gets locked and you will have to call or knock until you are heard. So don't stay out for long at nights."

Very basic. I had a room to myself, but if I had to share, it'd be very cramped. Power outlet wasn't near the beds.

"In questo hotel mi sento come a casa. Sono già diverse le volte che soggiorno qui, soprattutto per la qualità del servizio offerto, l’ottima colazione e la pulizia impeccabile sia nelle aree comuni che nelle camere. Tutto è molto curato e si percepisce l’impegno dello staff nel garantire un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. Come valore aggiunto, desidero sottolineare la costanza del servizio: a ogni visita ritrovo lo stesso alto livello di attenzione e qualità, il che trasmette fiducia e voglia di tornare. Senza dubbio, questo hotel è un 10 su 10. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca comfort e desidera sentirsi a proprio agio durante il soggiorno."

Orario di checkin non corretto su booking (segna le 18) e non rispondeva nessuno al telefono o ai messaggi di booking. Sono stato costretto a cambiare il mio programma per arrivare prima delle 18 quando il checkin effettivamente era anche dopo

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"Ottima posizione a pochi minuti dalla stazione metro di Lama Temple. Ho soggiornato in una camerata da quattro persone con bagno in camera. Ho trovato ottima disponibilità da parte dello staff che parla anche inglese. Mi è piaciuto l’ambiente, molto frequentato ma tranquillo di notte"

La doccia era scomoda perché è aperta e si allaga il bagno. La stanza è un po’ piccola ma comunque confortevole. Il letto non è comodissimo.

"It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.
