Not the best area in Paternoster, although to be fair within walking distance of everything, the exterior gates were hard work, they need to be fixed / maintained properly, chunky thick wine glasses not really what you want to drink quality wine out of

"Location is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The property has a small but private garden with sun loungers, etc to use when the sun shines. We had a detached lodge with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, open living, dining and kitchen area downstairs plus downstairs toilet - so the accommodation met our needs nicely. When it got cold the landlord came by and asked if we needed the heating putting on and showed us how to do this, which was thoughtful."

The landlord gave a lot of very exacting instructions on the use of the facilities in the property, which made us a bit nervous about using things incorrectly or potentially breaking anything!

"La camera padronale è uno spettacolo di accoglienza, ben arredata, piena di luce e di comodità. La cucina con open space è molto funzionale, comoda e completamente attrezzata. Sali la comoda rampa di scale ed al piano di sopra ci sono le camere comode e piene di luce con i relativi bagni."

The bed was really hard. There were just a few things that needed fixing around the place. If these were resolved I would give it 10/10.

"Joan and Paul were great hosts! Very lovely and provided solutions to some of the issues with facilities. The space is beautiful, it’s quiet and they have two beautiful dogs who we loved spending time with."

Some issues with power on first day then on-going with water & wifi connection - apart from this, it was a good 5 days.

it would have been nice to do a bit of tidy up ourselves but unfortunately there was no cleaning equipment on the property itself

Windows are not very soundproof, so for me, sleeping was difficult, but for a few nights, stay worth using ear plugs as the location is great.

"La casa è molto bella, grande, pulita, ben arredata, allineata ad un standard europeo medio-alto. Potrete godervi la terrazza sul tetto, e le piscine (queste ultime sono illuminate di notte), tutti gli ambienti sono molto curati: camere ampie, salotto ben arredato, cucina elegante e funzionale, fuori da ogni camera ci sono sedie e tavolino per abbandonarsi a un momento di serenità e l'ambiente esterno delle piscine è ben equipaggiato con sdraio, pagoda, gazebo con divano e bancone da cucina a vista. Dal primo piano della casa fino alla terrazza sul tetto si può ammirare una bella vista sul Nilo e immergersi nella pace della natura circostante. Lo staff è numeroso e molto disponibile e attento, Mohamed può organizzare tutte le attività possibili per voi: taxi, gita in felucca, gita sulla mongolfiera, guida turistica, visite guidate ecc.. Mohamed è inoltre molto attento a suggerire delle soluzione che evitino ogni tipo di problema al turista."

Nonostante il servizio sia molto buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è soddisfacente, la casa merita tutto il prezzo pagato ma il problema sorge per ogni attività aggiuntiva che richiede un costo molto elevato e non è chiaro se si possa contrattare o meno. In particolare, l'unico modo per muoversi è il taxi e le opzioni offerte da loro sono molto costose senza un apparente motivo. Inoltre, siamo stati invitati a non uscire non accompagnati nel villaggio, quindi è un pochino limitante non poter uscire di casa autonomamente, evidentemente non è sicuro, motivo per cui direi che la posizione non è ottimale, anche perchè è scomoda per fare acquisti di cibo per cucinare e cenare a casa. Infine c'è sempre personale che gira per casa quindi è difficile avere intimità.

"Soggiorno meraviglioso, Sabrina e Fabio gestiscono splendidamemte una struttura molto difficile da trovare in Italia in cui si può stare in relax e divertirsi con i propri cani a prezzi assolutamente onesti. Piscina per umani e piscina per cani entrambe tenute benissimo in un area verde in cui far sgambare i cani liberi. Grazie"

Cockroaches, but it wasn't because of cleaning, but it is about the country and the garbage outside the houses

"My father and I loved our night at this lodge. The yurt was large, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The site is also very nice, being surrounded by nature. The outdoor bathrooms are great too. Very clean. And what about the meals? We opted for their dinner offer, which was excellent, even if it was a bit pricey compared to what you find in local restaurants. We recommend it. There were two salads, the main course, and a small dessert. Breakfast was also delicious. The crepes, yum! We recommend staying here :)"

"Everything. The owner and property manager worked with us the best I have ever had. They accommodated our request for more chairs/towels/life vests. They had kayaks, stand up paddle boards and beach cruisers available for us to use. It truely had it all in this remote area! The house had it all within too!"

"Villa Blanche è una bella villa spaziosa, ben organizzata e molto comoda per una famiglia. A differenza delle altre due ville è leggermente arretrata rispetto alla spiaggia e bisogna percorrere un piccolo viale di palme per arrivare all’accesso diretto su una spiaggia meravigliosa e, in agosto, alla data del nostro viaggio, praticamente deserta. Fermate dei bus vicine e utilissime se non si ha la macchina per raggiungere il piccolo centro abitato con il market. A piedi si possono raggiungere la bellissima blu bay, che in agosto è anche riparata dai venti; il ristorante Bamboo si trova a destra uscendo dal cancello ed è molto carino ed informale. A sinistra invece il locale Naked per la colazione e i dolci. Tre tartarughe giganti, due gatti ed un coniglietto nero sono la ciliegina sulla torta! Host gentilissimo e disponibile, ha assecondato il nostro check out in ritardo senza caricare costi aggiuntivi. Cucina super attrezzata. Prese europee. Ottimo wifi."

L’ arredamento sarebbe un po’ da rinnovare, grandi potenzialità , spazi molto belli
