Hotel Cayuga

"Inizialmente non volevo dare questo punteggio ma dopo aver visitato il resto di Puntarenas vale un buon punteggio. È l’unico hotel decente in una città decaduta con prostitute, delinquenza e narcotraffico. L’hotel è decoroso, pulito, con piscina e una buona colazione. La camera purtroppo era sì pulita, modera e ordinata ma mancava tutto. Mancano armadi, comodini, appendini per appendere i vestit, phon e il bagno era davvero piccolo. Però davvero rispetto al resto della città è lussuoso con ben due parcheggi coperti. Wifi be funzionante. Vicino supermercato e pompa di benzina"

"Priva di ogni comfort la camera. Molto basica! Il personale era gentile ma non molto cordiale. Ci han fatto uscire la sera a piedi (abbiamo chiesto se era il caso) mala città non è esattamente sicura"

"Siamo stati due notti transitando in direzione aeroporto, l'hotel è veramente molto bello e curato, arredato con cura e molto pulito. Lo staff ci ha accolto sempre con il sorriso e pronti a darci indicazioni su tutto."

"It was very convenient overnight stay to take the ferry - there was a pool and restaurant and the room was very clean. Staff were very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our dinner there and lovely breakfast too. Thank you"

"The hotel is great for a short stay but we felt its location was not somewhere where we would have wanted to stay for longer. This may be our mistake - we asked a receptionist to tell us the way to the beach - he said left -but we walked that way and all the entrances to the beach were blocked off… we think he meant right ( and our fault again for not speaking better Spanish) … it was only the next day we saw the lively town and possibly better access to the beach as we were driving to the ferry. Perhaps some local information in the rooms may be helpful. The main thing was the music at the pool - our room was opposite and it was very very loud all afternoon until about 8pm - turn it down a little and would be great!"

"My room had no window which wasn't obvious to me from the booking, and it was missing hooks to hang things up or just unpack a little. I had to have the AC running whenever I was in the room and that got a bit noisy at night. The parking is nice, but the curbs are so high that I damaged my car a little going out."
