Camera senza aria condizionata, un po’ calda in agosto

"Quiet neighbourhood but not secluded. Close to Blue Bay, very close to Kokomo Beach for great snorkelling early in the day, and the flamingo habitat was always fun to check out. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Many restaurant choices a short drive away. 10-15 mins from downtown Willemstad, with plenty of parking near the Fort. Ed was a wonderful host! And the private pool at the end of a long hot day was a blessing."

Could not find coffee filters for the coffee machine in any store…:)

Non gradisco per una questione di igiene gli asciugamani marroni nelle strutture ricettive. In tre giorni non ci sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani, se avessimo voluto il cambio avremmo dovuto pagare una cifra extra, onestamente per quel che abbiamo pagato non è un gran servizio. Le docce erano aperte quindi durante il lavaggio l'acqua cadeva sul pavimento del bagno.

"Posizione conveniente, e self check-in molto facile. Le stanze un po' spartane, ma funzionali."

La pulizia era un po' scadente, una delle stanze molto piccola; inoltre il nome sulla struttura era Ocean beach, invece di Ocean breeze creando un po' di confusione.

Il campanello della porta d'ingresso . Veniva suonato erroneamente dai vicini perche si confondevano. I fornelli ad induzione che inizialmente ci hanno creato qualche problema...

"Appena sono arrivato la proprietaria mi accolto offrendomi il caffè. La casa è pulita. Ci sono due bagni puliti."

"We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the property - we felt right at home. He was very keen to host and you could really tell this in the way he interacted with us. Communication prior to our arrival was also very informative and friendly. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was amazing. So comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean and small touches around the room were cozy and well thought out. The surroundings are peaceful and our night stay was exactly what we needed after a big hike that day. Great for relaxation."

The hot water doesn’t last for very long but the water pressure is super good!

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with directions to/from the property and allowing me to stay in the bar area until I went to the bus station in the evening."

The room was basic (ie basic bathroom, wardrobe, tv, no desk) and was in the process of being cleaned when I arrived, but then this could be reflected in the 'budget' cost I paid for the accommodation.

"C’è piaciuto molto l’appartamento con una bella vista sulle montagne. Il luogo rilassante con pochi turisti e una bella posizione per raggiungere spiagge a sud di Creta o per andare verso Heraklion. L’accoglienza di Dimitri ci ha fatti sentire ospiti graditi e abbiamo apprezzato le colazioni che ci offriva tutte le mattine ."

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"Very nice apartment in a quiet place with a beautiful view of nature with good air, good instructions on how to get to the apartment, very convenient with an electric lock with a code. Nearby is the Moldovan embassy, two steps away (for those who care). I recommend!"

"Ottima posizione, si trova vicino alla metro Oktogon ma vicino ci sono molte fermate bus/tram. Situata vicino a molti ristoranti e supermarket. Zona molto tranquilla. L’appartamento scelto era quello con 6 letti. Il quale è molto grande, con due bagni e appartamento ben riscaldato. Appartamento pulito, con cucina spaziosa e fornita di pentole se eventualmente si vuole cucinare. I bagni uno con doccia e uno con vasca, non grandi ma comunque attrezzati."

Nonostante ci sia la doppia finestra non è ben insonorizzato, quindi si sentono i rumori esterni. Per un soggiorno di 4 gg sono stati forniti 1 asciugamano grande ed uno piccolo. un altro paio sarebbe stato utili

"Ralph, Natalia, and Chris are very welcoming hosts. We were made to feel right at home. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The picturesque location is awe-inspiring!"

"Bella struttura a pochi passi dal mare. Centrale e silenziosa. Il nostro appartamento aveva anche uno spazio esterno molto carino."

Purtroppo non c’erano piastre e padelle per cucinare solo microonde, abbiamo colto l’occasione e siamo usciti a cena.

"Beautiful territory, nice stuff, excellent location, proximity to the beach. Absolutely beautiful place to stay close to the old port, very convenient for the kids to swim. A bit outside of the city and I loved it! Walking distance to the kite beach or shell cemetery. Enjoyed to be surrounded by so many flowers on the territory. Definitely good value for the money. Book in advance!"

The kids bed wasn’t really comfortable and was somehow uneven.

"Lovely location, quiet beach, small but perfectly furnished. Just missing a wardrobe and drawers but we managed to no problem at all."
