"The location was in the very center of the city. The building is beautiful and has almost all you need for a short stay(kitchen ware, coffee, tea, spices, oil, no salt however😃) . Geting in was easy, at the first floor without elevator. It has an enormous living room with a dinner table for 4. The bedding was excellent too."

"When we reserved on the site the name and the pictures were diferent from the apt we got. When asked they said the name has changed from Citadel Residence. In fact there are different apts managed by the same organisation Anno 1800 and there are pictures from all of them and you don't exactly get the one you've seen in the photos. At least we didn't recognise it. The lock was old and couldn't be used turning the key but only halfway when shutting the door. The knob was detached at the upper part on the outside. The hotwater didn't function the first 2 days because it wasn't programmed so from the heater. We managed to do it ourselves by pushing the buttons until it worked. The shower was on the ceiling so using it implied either washing your hair or using a shower cap that we didn't have and none was provided. There wasn't a kitchen table and for transporting all the foods from the kitchen to the living room, a tray would have been very useful. The fridge was half broken, with the freezer full of ice that was melting and dripping in the inside of the fridge. We managed to keep our food inside by putting an absorbant cloth beneath the freezer to protecție the food from being soaked. The traffic on the street was busy and the bedroom rather noisy. The space between the bed and the TV didn't exceed 30 cm so a large person might have difficulties going to the other side of the bed. We spend little time inside so finally it was ok for us."

"This apartment is absolutely stunning! It has a historical charm but it also provides modern comfort, the amenities are carefully integrated into the space blending the old and the new. The sense of history was palpable, every piece telling a unique story and you can see the hosts passion for preserving the apartment's historical legacy! It has beautifull tall windows with an amazing light, the location is excellent and the checkin process really easy! It was a privilege!"

"Absoluter Geheimtipp für Bistriţa. Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen, lieblosen Ferienwohnungen ist das hier ein absoluter Schatz. Ein wirklich liebevoll eingerichtetes Altbau-Appartement, mit viel Charme und Liebe zum Detail, mitten in der historischen Altstadt. Die Wohnung selbst ist völlig ausreichend eingerichtet, uns hat es an nichts gemangelt. Das Bett über dem Bad, bzw. die Leiter da rauf sind tatsächlich ein wenig abenteuerlich, aber das wird auch im Welcome Guide so kommuniziert. Dieser enthält alle nötigen Informationen, darunter Empfehlungen für Geschäfte und Lokalitäten um die Ecke. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war allzeit freundlich, auf Fragen wurde binnen kürzester Zeit geantwortet."
