"Breakfast and Evening meal was very good and met all our expectations. Robert the owner looked after us in every way. Our dog was welcome and a log fire was lit as we sat with a drink in the afternoon."

"The location of this precious gem, in the middle of Parque de Montesinho, allows you to truly disconnect and focus on the essential. Also the way it is managed and built truly makes you feel at home away from home. Robert, is an amazing host and we thank him a lot for making us feel so at ease during our stay."
"Nothing to mention"
"Wonderful location in a small quiet village with the added bonus of excellent evening meals and wine. Exceptional staff [ Eugenie ] Apologies if name spelt wrong. What an amazing renovation of an old building"

"This was a really special find in an amazing location. Exceptionally restored old stone house that clearly alot of love has been poured into. Everything was amazing from the facilities to the delicious home cooked food to the wonderful hosting by Robert. Our 3 year old loved playing with the train set and picking grapes fresh from the vines. A really special place. Thank you so much!"

"This is an amazing little place, for some down time. We were met by Eugene who gave us access to a very large secure garage and then showed us to our very spacious room. We were introduced to Robert later that evening, where we enjoyed an absolutely delightful 3 course meal. The pool/scenery was also very enjoyable. The whole experience was superb and if we ever find ourselves in that area again, we will definitely be revisiting.... loved it!"

"From the moment we arrived Robert, the owner, could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us into his beautiful house and garden and we felt truly at home.. Our bedroom was large and comfortable. Our days started with a delicious breakfast, then time by the swimming pool, exploring the pretty village and rounded off with supper served either on the terrace or in the sociable atmosphere of the dining room. We hope to return to this idyllic spot in the Montesinho national park - a very convenient 4 hour drive from the ferry at Santander."
"Everything was perfect"
"Robert is an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to chat to (though not obtrusive). The property cooked us a lovely meal for dinner. The pool is a good size, lovely temperature with great views. The neighbourhood was very quiet, it was very peaceful. We wished we had stayed there longer and would definitely return if in the area...."
"The access road to the property is very narrow.... more of a warning if you are in a large SUV...."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"L'host è molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha accolto anche se era già tardi e ci ha dato ottimi consigli su cosa vedere in città / dove mangiare. L'appartamento è un po' defilato dal centro città (circa 10 min a piedi), dall'altra parte si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa."
