Sultan Private Desert Camp

"Un'esperienza unica! Ci siamo incontrati con il gestore Humeid nella posizione inviataci tramite booking. Abbiamo fatto sgonfiare le ruote alla macchina e ci siamo avventurati. La notte l'abbiamo passata fuori della tenda, dentro faceva troppo caldo, quindi ci hanno gentilmente aiutato a mettere i letti fuori. Eravamo gli unici nella notte prenotata quindi ci è sembrata una cosa esclusiva! La cena e la colazione si fanno presso un altro posto, poco distante. Sia cena che colazione ottimi. Alle 4.50 di mattina abbiamo preso il cammello per andare a vedere l'alba (servizio che si paga a parte 30 omr). Da rifare, un incanto!"

"Humied, il proprietario , è stato molto disponibile, ci ha organizzato un tour in jeep di un' ora nel deserto al tramonto e alla mattina presto un giro in cammello ed ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre curiosità sugli usi e costumi del popolo omanita. Inoltre, viste le temperature elevate, ci ha proposto di dormire sotto le stelle. Cena e colazione ottime e abbondanti. È stata un' esperienza unica e indimenticabile"

"Amazing place and absolute highlight of our trip so far. The people who run the place are kind, funny, patient and very very welcoming. They make you feel right at home. It's very suitable for kids of all ages as it's just one huge playground/sandpit to them. The camels were great and looked happy, well taken care of."

"I was a bit worried about potential cold nights but that wasn't needed at all. They provide a good amount of warm blankets and offer more where needed. We weren't cold at all. The matrass wasn't the most comfy ever, but for a tent in the desert it felt luxurious and we actually all slept better than anywhere else!"

"It is really deep in the beautiful desert, even better than we expected. Very private around, away from the main tourist traffic, just sand dunes around and in the camp we were staying - only 3 tents, perfect. Inside the tent- comfortable beds, carpets, towels (lots of space in the tent), even the shower with open roof to the stars! :) Shower was for each tent separate, lovely and thoughtful. Modern toilet, a sink with a mirror outside, so dreamy. The place where you feel so welcome and like in another world at the same time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, special thanks to our amazing guide/driver Mr. Rashid - who treated as like a family, gave a lot of local tips for dining, logistics, places to see, and generally took care of us the whole time. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back! :)"
