"Un soggiorno davvero troppo breve, la casa è molto carina, pulita, spaziosa e con tutti i servizi necessari, in una posizione ottima per la vista e per raggiungere le spiagge, la padrona di casa è stata molto ospitale e premurosa, ha fatto di tutto per consentirci ogni comfort: accendere le luci esterne in previsione del nostro arrivo tardi per esempio."

"My stay at Robins Nest was outstanding! The place was very large and would be suitable for a family holiday. The veranda is nice to have a meal or a coffee with a nice sea view (on the two bays of the peninsula). Sharon and Paul were extremely welcoming and flexible (I booked the place very late and could check out late since there were no guests after me), which I appreciated a lot. They gave me some very valuable tips about travelling in the area and showed me a path to find kiwi birds at night time, which was successful, due to their lent infrared torches!"

"Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived to bubbly and canapés for our daughter's honeymoon. Area is stunning, hosts are friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. Highly, highly recommend."

"It was close to the beach, not far from russells town and just a quick ferry trip to paihia. The accomodation is very clean with a beautiful view. Feels nice and homely."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
