"Clean and friendly hostel with good kitchen, showers, laundry machine. Comfy beds, good pillows, amazing staff. We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. We will be back! Thank you!"

"The staff is great! Kristina was super helpful and told us a bit about life in Barentsburg."
"The safe for rifle and flare gun is next door in the hotel and the reception was closed between 19 and 9. So plan your late evening and early morning trips well. The staff agrees to come and open the safe if you tell them the exact time though, so once again staff is very helpful. We just felt bad making Kristina wake up at 7 only to come and open the safe for us."

"Almost everything was there to spend few days comfortable (the kettle but was missing but we didn’t miss it too much - found a way to boil the water for hot beverages)."
"La struttura è molto bella con ampi spazi di relax e condivisione con gli altri ospiti. Cucina ampia ben dotata di tutto ciò che serve per preparare i pasti. A disposizione degli ospiti poi c'è lavatrice ed asciugatrice a titolo gratuito. "The location was great - a very short walk into town and fab for exploring the local area by car. It was also good to stay in a Norwegian property. Although it was a small room we were very welcomed in the house and had many good conversations with Lisbeth’s mum who also gave us some very good tips on where to go."
