"La Perla è la più bella struttura presente sull’isola di Dhangethi inserita in un giardino tropicale con una comoda piscina e due simpatici pappagalli. La Perla è in una zona strategica sulla main street dove si trovano dei bellissimi negozietti e vicino al porto dove ci sono dei ristoranti molto carini sul mare; ma si può usufruire anche dell’ottimo ristorante all’interno della struttura. Le camere sono perfettamente pulite e ben arredate, il personale è strepitoso sempre attento ad ogni tua richiesta ed esigenza anche per risolvere eventuali problemi. Consigliamo vivamente questa struttura e ci ritorneremo volentieri, appena possibile!!"

"La posizione è buona vicino all'unica stradina principale dell'isola, ad ogni modo l'isola è talmente piccola che qualsiasi posto è buono! L'isola di per se è molto tranquilla, abitata solo da locali e guesthouse, offre 3 ristorantini sulla spiaggia, due/tre posti che organizzano escursioni e sport acquatici. Il mare è stupendo come in tutto il paese. La colazione inclusa è buona se pur non offre moltissima varietà, ma giustamente non siamo in un resort. Non ha un accesso spiaggia privato e non è fronte spiaggia ma offre una piacevole piscinetta. Il personale è molto disponibile ed offrono un serivizo di escursioni pari a tutte le altre strutture sull'isola. Lo staff mette a disposizione gratuitamente gli strumenti per lo snorkeling."

"Niente in particolare, se proprio si possono fare delle correzioni migliorerei un po' l'offerta delle escursioni, in particolare la frequenza e chiuderei la parte della doccia per non allagare troppo il bagno."

"Rustic maldavian accomodation in centre of island. Easy to reach all amenities. The only hotel with a pool on the island. Hotel staff were lovely."

"The location is very close to the local mosque so the calls to prayer are extremely loud, especially at 5.15am. The breakfast was monotonous, the same thing everyday. Also when going on trips the takeaway breakfast was always the same and we had to ask for water everytime. Some of the decor was dated, I.e. rotten wooden door frame in our bathroom. Perla do arrange trips but they have competition with a new provider across the street and Perlas prices and service do not compare unfortunately. They need to do some homework."

"Nice welcome drink, 1 min to Diving, excursions agencies. Wonderful staffs, checked in when we arrived, checked out when we leaves (13:00), swimming pool with shade was good to rest from sun."

"Water was leaking from basin or top and it did not fixed for 7 days. Shower room became pond after shower. It was pretty loudly heard preying, we woke up at 05:30 by prayer."

"The hotel and owner were both amazing Rooms extremely spacious Pool very clean We did the manta ray trip which was excellent 10 minutes walk from an amazing bikini beach"

"Great hospitality, helpful staff, cozy and clean rooms and a good location . The hotel helped with everything including booking speedboat, packed breakfast when we went scuba diving early in the morning, recommendations on the island and the food we had was very good."

"Really comfortable bed, nice pool and great food! They provide new towels daily and also towels for the pool/beach. Snorkeling equipment is also provided which is plus. But the most valuable and important thing to me was the way that we were treated… The staff was amazingly kind during our entire stay, specially Garmii and Anik (sorry if the names are not correctly written 😅). The people in the island are also very friendly. It felt like home and our vacations were even better just because of this, it really made a difference. Thank you for receiving us so well!"

"Just some points for improvement: - The cleaning of the shower could be improved and there are some signs of rust (at least in our room) - The hotel should reinforce about personal hygiene of the cleaning workers About the tours booked in the hotel: - In my opinion, the tours guides have to be better prepared… I know the nature is unpredictable and there is no 100% you can see the whale shark or even the mantas, but since the odds are low, at least for the whale shark, I think it helps having a drone to search and speed boats really fast to increase the odds of seeing these animals. We later noticed that there were other companies that were better prepared and that makes a huge difference in my opinion. Spending hours in the boat just searching through eyes is a needle in a haystack. But maybe next time we get to see them! For the guests to come, also do not forget (like I did), that this is a local island, there is a mosque nearby, and prayers broadcast through loudspeakers, even in the night."

"Perla exceeded my expectations the moment Dominic greet us at the port, him and the entire team were super friendly and went above and beyond for their guests… even arranging us a private trip to the sandbank last minute. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. The owner Hamila and her son were amazing and I would recommend anyone to stay with them at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are large, Netflix on TV, swimming pool, free snorkel gear, located by the shops and restaurants. This really is a great local island, with amazing people."
