Lodge a Samoa

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.

"Posizione bellissima, in mezzo alla natura. Host molto gentili e disponibili. Ho cenato, ottimamente, presso di loro. Ho anche utilizzato il loro servio di trasporto dall'aeroporto ed il giorno successivo ho fatto un bellissimo tour alla scoperta dell'isola."

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Great location at the South side of Song Kul lake. Breakfast was tasty and plenty. You can also get (packed) lunches and dinner. Phone reception is good and you can charge your phone in the evening in the main yurt. Stayed for two nights there. So peaceful and relaxing. Loved it!"

"Incredibly stay! The photos don’t show how beautiful the grounds are. Super recommend the tents and wandering down to the beach clubs in the area for beers and a swim. All of the staff were amazing at helping us organise everything and the food was delicious - special shout out to Brigitte for making our stay extra special, even letting us come into the kitchen so we could learn how to make African tea - we miss you Brigitte!!!"

"Nalazi se na savrsenom mestu sa jako lepom plazom. Bungalovi su skromni ali ok. Postoji opcija klime ali mora ranije da se najavi! Hrana je izvrsna, imaju jako zanimljive izlete po ok cenama. Odlazak na kornjace ne treba propustiti!!! Osoblje je sjajno."

"Il soggiorno perfetto, con una vista pazzesca ed una tranquillità incredibile. Bungalow grande e dotato di ogni comfort. Peccato esserci stata solo 2 notti."

"The room was beautiful opening up to a sea view. Could go kayaking from just outside the room. The lodge had kayaks and life jackets available to guests. Could also go fishing or swimming - just idyllic! The staff were also really helpful. I would most definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful views of Apia. We literally had the whole place to ourselves. It provided a calm quiet space that we didn't expect."

Unfortunately there were a few minor issues when we arrived, that eventually got sorted. Given the circumstances of the week prior & sending our condolences to the family, I'm not surprised things were a little off the mark. A broom in the unit be great to keep the floors free of bugs & dirt. We still loved our stay regardless.

Il cibo molto buono ma da perfezionare

"Prachtig locatie, uitzicht adembenemend. Mooie kamers en heerlijk zwembad. Erg goed personeel. Pluim voor Eric!"

Het eten en drinken. Er was veel niet aanwezig van wat er op de kaart stond. Zowel van het eten als het drinken. Dat mag niet mogelijk zijn voor de prijs die je betaalt.

No cucina. Se fai da te la cena devi liberare dalle 19 alle 21 per loro ristorante.

"Tutto, posto meraviglioso, personale a dir poco perfetto, efficiente, sorridente, gentile. Penso che sia stato il miglior soggiorno della mia vita (e io viaggio molto). La camera con vista fiume era una favola ed era impeccabilmente pulita. Tutto funziona alla perfezione qui. Ti aiutano anche a organizzare tour e trasporti. Complimenti ragazzi, continuate così!"

La posizione molto vicina alla spiaggia e ai ristoranti Novi e Sinbat sono stati incredibilmente gentili e disponibili, abbiamo passato dei giorni meravigliosi Ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare le attività e ci han portato a fare un giro di esplorazione dell’isola! "Exceptional environment, well-kept, among the trees, calm, peaceful. The cottages are built in such a way that they have a pleasant temperature without air conditioning or fans. At night, for the first time in Gambia, I had to cover myself with a duvet. The owner and staff were extremely kind, accommodating, unobtrusive."

"Un servizio TOP. Il personale era molto professionale e gentile. Le tende erano comode ed accoglienti. Il Camp è ben posizionato lungo il fiume con ampi spazi verdi. Possibilità di fare 3 safari al giorno. Raccomandiamo in particolare quella della mattina con il Bush Breakfast. La nostra fantastica guida Dominic era molto competente e disponibile. Inoltre c’era la possibilità di attendere interessanti lezioni a fine giornata condotte da un giovane Masai sulla Fauna, Flora e Tradizioni locali."

"Bella struttura un po' fuori centro ma con splendida vista e posizione tranquilla. Staff accogliente e cortese che ci ha veramente coccolato. Stanza ampia e pulita e tranquilla. Ottima la colazione che si può scegliere fra diverse formule. Si pzo cenare e il menù è tipico e i piatti ben cucinati. Possibili diverse escursioni in zona su sentieri ben segnati. In estate un luogo fresco anche in periodi molto caldi. Consigliabile certamente"

Occorrerebbe un cartello che lo segnali dal parcheggio principale di Popova. Google lo indica in modo errato.

"Le casette sugli alberi sono adorabili, immerse nella giungla. Il personale è stato veramente accogliente e disponibile anche a darci suggerimenti rispetto alla zona. Colazione ottima! Sicuramente è stata un'esperienza particolare che non avevamo mai avuto l'occasione di fare."

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"Great location on the beach. It had a kitchen if you were self catering. Plenty of great spotS to sit and enjoy the view"
