Purtroppo abbiamo avuto difficoltà perché non c'è stata elettricità (e ne anche acqua!) per parecchie ore.

Presenza di frigo, macchina del caffè, bollitore e tostapane per prepararsi la colazione. Tè, caffè e zucchero a disposizione."

Non c'è il bidet. Aria condizionata a pagamento (il prezzo almeno è basso).

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. "Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"Gilles & Henriette were superb hosts and made us feel at home. The setting is so tranquil and like a home from home. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too."

Nothing - it was all great. However, be prepared for a steep drive down to the property. We were glad we arrived in daylight. 🙂

Would have been nice if pool had been heated - a bit cool in the late afternoon for a swim. Recognize this would differ seasonally.

"excellent breakfast, efficient staff, nice location to visit Gent and other places. Good selection of restaurants nearby whereby the owner assisted in providing the available options. Linnen was good including the towels."

The showerhead is located halfway through the shower cubicle which meant that a lot of water came inside the bathroom while taken a shower. The ventilator didn't operate in the bathroom which meant that a small window was left open in the bathroom for ventilation. The drawback was ingress of mosquitoes into the room/bathroom. The lighting in the room could be enhanced, often we felt that the room was too dark.

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

"Aveva tutto il necessario: da una cucina completamente accessoriata alla lavatrice. Camere grandi come anche la casa stessa. Vista sul mare molto bella. Debbie, la padrona di casa, è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile"

Het eten en drinken. Er was veel niet aanwezig van wat er op de kaart stond. Zowel van het eten als het drinken. Dat mag niet mogelijk zijn voor de prijs die je betaalt.
