"I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. The location is fantastic in front of a beach which feels secluded. We were often the only ones on the beach within 500 meters. Please be advised that the sea is quite though, but the staff are happy to help you find a safe spot for swimming and the pool is a great option. Rooms are very cosy and has a personal and unique touch i really liked. The vibe is very relaxed and quiet. The staff to guest ratio is very high and the individual service and personal touch is next level. The staff is extremely attentative without being intrusive. All staff members are great, but Kasun was the true star. I have never met a more service minded and pleasant hospitality employee. Breakfast was very good. The selection is limited as it is a ten room hotel, but the produce and dishes had high quality and it was enough to choose from so that it felt varied from day to day."

"The hotel is quite pricy. As such expectations are very high. There are three things that made me give the hotel 9/10 and not 10/10: - The restaurant is okay, but not great. Service was a bit slow at times. - Shower pressure could have been better. - A/C could have been more effective. All in all minor flaws which are easy to fix. Anyways this was clearly our best experience in Sri Lanka. Travelers should also be advised that this hotel is a boutique hotel and not comparable to resorts in the same price range. There is no gym or spa (but guests may use the gym and spa at the sister hotel Kahanda Kahanda which is a 15 min drive), there is no extravagant breakfast buffet and the rooms are not very modern. In exhange, guests get a quiet and secluded experience and a much better personal service. I would personally choose the KK experience all day every day, but guests with other prioriteres may be better off choosing the resort."

"The views were incredible, the pool was so lovely to swim in, the food was delicious and the staff were all so accommodating and so helpful with our baby. We also loved how large the rooms were and the bed was very comfortable."

"The decor is very chic. The rooms are vast and comfortable with great amenities and beautiful bed linens and dressing gowns. The staff are very sweet and attentive, sometimes a little too attentive. The views are stunning. A short Tuk Tuk ride from Galle and other sites. The pool area is great."

"The food was ok - but very expensive compared to other hotels and restaurants and the quality didn’t reflect the price. We found much better outside the hotel. Same goes for cocktails … the ones we tried were very bland. Not the fault of the hotel but there was a man chain smoking Cuban cigars in the pool all day while we were there. It was very off-putting, and it would be great if there was a. I smoking rule in the swimming pool. Overall the good far outweighs the areas for improvement."
