Coco Tangalla

"La struttura é bellissima, i mobili antichi e moderni, tutto arredato con molto gusto. La cucina é incredibile, la migliore cena di tutto lo Sri Lanka, e il personale come sempre molto gentile. La nostra camera era bellissima, con grande terrazza sulla piscina e con vista mare, bagno immenso, con un albero che usciva dal tetto, letto con zanzariera. La terrazza del ristorante é molto bella, grande, con vista mare e piscina, ci sono dei divani enormi su cui sdraiarsi e rilassarsi. Ci sono ovunque prese per ricaricare i telefonini o pc. Bar con snack aperto tutto il giorno, ristorante con menu su prenotazione (bisogna avvisare prima se si resta a cena e quale menu si vuole mangiare), un po' caro ma incredibilmente buono."

"La posizione non é delle migliori, un po' fuori dal centro, anche se in 10min. a piedi si arriva, e lontano dalle spiagge (15/20min a piedi) quindi in tuc-tuc si arriva comunque velocemente. La spiaggia di fronte alla struttura ha sassi e onde quindi non si riesce proprio a fare il bagno e non é bella, però la piscina é fantastica e con tutti i confort. Comunque ci é piaciuto molto camminare, la zona é sicura."

"Just an incredibly comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The service was exceptional and the food out of this world. You can hear the ocean all the time and there are 2 swimming beaches 5 minutes away"

"We stayed at Coco Tangalle for 3 nights and really loved our time here. We were in the King Coco room which had a wonderful terrace over the pool, the room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, with many options to pick from and be made to order. The fruit platter was excellent and they made fresh juice as requested. We also had drinks and lunch here throughout our stay which was also of high quality. The service here was so friendly and attentive but also laid back. They cleaned the room twice a day which was handy."

"Only two small points of feedback. A fridge in the room would be helpful and the shower didn't have much hot water pressure but that isn't unusual for an island holiday."

"I loved Coco because it was a small boutique hotel, once a family home that is now an intimate yet very private place to stay on the coast near Tangalle.. each room individually styled and exquisite. We had the Seaview room with balcony where we could sit and have tea or our gnt😉 the bathroom had a tree growing through the ceiling which we loved.. it’s certainly a place we’d come back to. The service is impeccable and the manager could not do anymore to help us with whatever we wanted.. all the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you want relaxed, peaceful stay in Tangalle. Of btw, the pool area was perfect with loungers and shade."
