Hotel in Gambia

"We loved the quiet scenic location and the beautiful, elegant new resort with top tier facilities. Felt pampered by the staff and enjoyed the best massage. The resort provide free shuttle into Koror morning and afternoon, which is ideal for divers heading to the rock island dive sites. Loved the huge wall of windows showing us the turquoise kingfishers and long tailed white tropic birds."

Resort is tailored to Asian touists with a lack of English instructions on remotes, etc, but staff were super helpful.

"The location is great -- just 5 minutes to the beach and close to the main cafés and restaurants. The apartment is a good size and has a blackout system, so you don’t get sunlight coming in. The hotel also has two of the best restaurants in town -- Bottega and Plaza -- and they are fantastic."

I was not provided with a tea kettle or a hair dryer, as listed in the room description. Also, you can hear people walking to their rooms and staff talking while cleaning.

Il maniglione del bagno sul quale si doveva agganciare il seggiolino della doccia per disabili si staccava e non era sicuro .. si rischiava di cadere e non ho fatto la doccia

"È un piccolo albergo, molto carino e ben tenuto, con poche stanze, in pieno centro del villaggio, si trova davanti a un laghetto delizioso, da parecchie stanze si ha una bella vista sul lago e parte del paese.. Buona l'accoglienza e la disponibilità da parte dei gestori (non francesi) della struttura."

Data la mia età l'assenza di un ascensore è fastidiosa, ma le camere sono facilmente raggiungibili utilizzando le scale perché la struttura è piccola, basta non avere troppi bagagli.

"The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.

(לצערנו היה סגור) הבקתה הייתה נקייה ויבשה, מיטה זוגית עם ג'קוזי בחדר, ספה נפתחת, אינטרנט, טלוויזיה, מיקרו, מזגן בכל חדר. כל הבקתות אותו דבר עם גלריה למעלה עם 2 מיטות. הבן אהב לשון שם. מגבות החליפו כל יום. בריכה מקורה ומחוממת וסאונה. שחינו כשבחוץ היה +3 מעלות מטבח כללי גדול עם אפשרות לעשות מנגל גם בפנים וגם בחוץ מול נוף המדהים, כמו כן יש גז, אפשר להכין אוכל. בעל הבית מאוד אדיב ונעים, ממש דאג לכל דבר מה שהיינו צריכים. אפשר לקבל ארוחות בוקר בתשלום. עזבנו את המקום עם חוויות טובות. נחזור."

"Struttura pulita, buona wifi, letto comodo, camera piccola ma confortevole, aria condizionata efficace, foccia calda, cibo buono ma porzioni un po' piccole. Parcheggio chiuso e coperto. Personale gentile."

Scale a chiocciola per salire alla teception e alle camere. Ho chiesto a colazione alle 8, una volta è stata servita alle 8.50, una alle 7.40 (ero ancora a letto), un'altra ale 8.40. La strada per arrivare non è asfaltata e se ha piovuto bisogna provare varie strade alternative per evitare alcune pozzanghere giganti.

"The chinese food restaurant was fantastic. The rooms were clean and great for the price. Even though the restaurant was closed in the morning, the owner brought us each a coffee when we went searching for one. Would stay again."

Per la città in cui si trova, e’ davvero un buon hotel….ho apprezzato che vi è uno spazio attrezzato per i bambini e l’hotel si sta anche ampliando

La struttura potrebbe essere più curata, ad esempio il lavandino del bagno crepato e che non faceva scendere bene l’acqua

consiglio di aggiungere i piatti di carne nella lista, esempio pollo arrosto o petto di pollo etc.

The city itself was pretty boring, nothing to do and nothing really close by. Ofcourse this has nothing to do with the hotel

"Hotel located in nice and calm area, personal very polite and helpful. Room clean, bed and bedding are very comfortable. Breakfast very good, tasty and rich."

Many pigeon droppings outside, even arround the pool. Very loud ventilator in the bathroom. Bad smell outside at night.

que pase calor en la habitación, no habian prendido el aire porque decia que iba a bajar la temperatura, pero la habitacion tenia una ventana hacia un pulmon donde no ingresaba aire, por lo tanto, no pudimos descansar muy bien por el calor.

"Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre propre, Calme et confortable . Le gérant est très serviable, abordable et de bons conseils pour les randos, aluguers etc....."

Le seul petit bémol, pour le petit déjeuner  nous aurions préféré des jus de fruit corrects plutôt que chimiques proche du soda.

"Staff molto gentile e disponibile, camera super pulita con pulizie giornaliere, letto enorme e comodissimo e soprattutto la piscina in camera! La colazione era molto abbondante e varia ed in più c'era un menù di uova dove si poteva richiedere di cucinare omlette, uova strapazzate ecc... La camera era molto grande e ben tenuta con tutte le comodità, tv in soggiorno e in camera da letto, aria condizionata. I prezzi del ristorante dell'hotel sono in linea con i ristoranti che si trovano fuori e il cibo non è male."
