"Quiet and secluded. Small hotel, great service. It is a little old, but newly painted and clean. AC and hot shower worked perfect. Beach approximity is great. Fun, BIG waves. You don’t swim but tumble (not for small children). Hardly any people at the beach or at the hotel’s pool which is also kept very clean. But plenty of beach bars/cafes. And beautiful sunsets. Hardly any bugs, but there is also no humidity as such in February. We enjoyed the balcony with ocean view during siestas. Paula, Bibi and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful with tours, use of paypal and late check out. Despite the small size of the hotel, the kitchen was open all day till 9 pm, with a rather large menu card. It is not 5 European standard stars, but definitely 5 African stars. I loved our stay and highly recommend it to anyone."

"It is a bit far from main street with ATMs (which may not work anyway) and super markets (approx 1 km). Other shopping is even further away. We liked the hazzle free holiday and didn’t come for the shopping, so to us it wasn’t important. The hall way is very big and does not absorb the sound of occasional slamming doors. Because of the little number of rooms this was not a problem to us."

"Everyone was very helpful and friendly. A nice relaxed stay. The food was very good and I enjoyed traditional Gambian food cooked fresh. When I needed help finding the right cash point I was taken care of and was helped with a lift to the cash point. Thank you. When I left I was offered help if I needed to while staying in the country. It is a wonderful family atmosphere and a caring place to stay I would definitely stay again. Thank you to everyone who works there."

"Regards breakfast and food in general, Mr T and Sonya were fantastic cooks who prepared a lovely continental spread for us daily. They also offer cooked breakfasts as well. Furthermore the times of finishing breakfast dont really apply and they will continue to cook way past this time. Mr T's scrambled eggs were some of the best I have eaten. The evening meals were out of this world cooked to order and taste wise you could ask for more. Again the staff went out of their way to accomodate our requests. Accomodation was superb, location again superb. I also have to mention the other staff here. Mr Bibi, Amal, Nday and Caba. They are a fantastic team and made our stay super special. Paula the manager/Director of the place is also super friendly and runs a very tight ship. We will be returning here without doubt that yet again we will experience the most friendliest of welcome and most enjoyable stay."
