The only bad experience was that there was no WiFi connection. I was unable to communicate with friends and family back home which made them worried and scared.

Kurtz, il proprietario dell'alloggio, molto disponibile a rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta ancora prima di iniziare il soggiorno. Molto cordiale e gentile. Ci ha noleggiato auto e ci è venuto a prendere direttamente al porto. Bel ti plas è un ottima struttura, pulita accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario. Consigliatissima. "Excelente el tamaño de la habitación incluyendo su cama con sus múltiples capas de colchas para arroparse. Tenia un parador pequeño para colocar los objetos y mochilas. El baño contaba con agua caliente al girar la perilla derecha con la izquierda al ser el de frío regulaba que tan caliente uno deseaba. Excelente servicio a la habitación, incluso proveen con más rollo de papel higiénico en caso de requerir. El hotel y sus lugares aledaños son muy tranquilos y seguros. Igual uno debe ser precavido para evitar cualquier situación. La dueña del hotel responde casi inmediatamente si se presenta una novedad."

Lamentablemente uno se percató al momento de elegir en booking.com. No especifiqué desayunos, por ende no recibí mi desayuno. La habitación no estaba aislada del frío - no contaba con calefactor. La habitación solo contaba con dos jabones y no contaba con 1 satchet/frazo pequeño de shampoo.

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"Posizione ottima , qualche centinaio di metri dal centro di Matmata , parcheggio privato per le moto . Camera spaziosa , bella casa con una vista spettacolare dal terrazzo superiore. Colazione ottima e abbondante . Il proprietario ci ha consigliato il ristorante ( Restaurant Chez Abdoul ) dove abbiamo mangiato benissimo ( e speso poco ) e dove abbiamo conosciuto un ragazzo che il giorno seguente ci ha fatto da guida per visitare case troglodite e museo raccontandoci vita e aneddoti degli abitanti."

"Struttura molto bella in un contesto verde e rilassante. I proprietari sono persone carine e dolci, che ti accolgono con il sorriso, non parlano inglese ma col traduttore tutto è possibile. La camera è spaziosa e accogliente, soprattutto con letto comodo e un piccolo balcone per rilassarsi. A due passi dal mercato notturno e alla strada dei negozi e ristoranti"
