"Julio was lovely and the place is as shown. A lovely basic homestay in the middle of nowhere. We were basically the only people staying when we came which was lovely but I can imagine it could feel crowded if it was busy. There's a small shop 2 mins walk through the jungle where you can buy staples but only occasionally has fruit/veg. You're in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do apart from admiring the beauty around you, perfect for what we wanted but don't expect lots to do! Can go swimming in the river."

"Only a couple of places to hangout and there's no ceilings in the rooms so everything is completely heard! There's also only one kayak (75Q per day rent) which could prove problematic if there were lots of people."

"Julio’s cabana was newly built and very spacious. He just finished the new porch overhang the day before my arrival! I really liked the rustic feel of the home, and how private it was. I was the only one on the property during my stay. I stayed in the private room, but took a look upstairs at the loft. There are multiple beds in an open floor layout, with mosquito netting to ensure a comfortable sleep. There are kayaks available for a small extra fee, making getting around on the river very easy - especially if you have friends nearby, would like to visit the thermal waters, or grab dinner at Restaurante Viajero. Julio also has a well stocked kitchen if you will be doing your own cooking, as well as an EcoFilter water purifier. Loved my stay! Thank you Julio and your family for making me feel welcome."

"Accessibility to grocers is difficult, and transportation to and from can be a little tricky, but it’s a home stay on the river so that was to be expected! Come prepared with all you need and you’ll surely not be disappointed. Nothing negative to really say."

"La maison est très bien sauf que les chambres n'ont pas de plafond et comme il n'y a que des moustiquaires aux fenêtres... heureusement, nous étions seuls mais impossible de loger avec d'autres personnes sans aucune intimité. Le matelas inconfortable, on sent les ressorts."

"De lokatie was prachtig. Dichtbij Rio lampera wat een rustige rivier is waar je kan kayakken. Julio helpt je graag om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Regelt kayaks, evt een dagtocht en vervoer naar je volgende lokatie. Er is een keuken waar je zelf kan koken. Neem wel je boodschappen mee. Je gaat de rivier op, er is een winkeltje in de buurt, maar dan moet je door moeras, water enz. niet echt handig dus."

"Niets viel tegen. Maar houdt er rekening mee dat het erg basic is. Ik houd ervan, maar als je veel luxe wil, is dit niet de place to be."
