Pod style en-suite showers are compact and may not be suitable for taller people Gunwharf Quays and HMS Warrior are also a 10-minute walk away. Southsea Castle is an 8-minute walk from the building, and a wide range of cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The University of Portsmouth is 5 minutes from The Pier on foot. "Lovely and quiet location, walking distance to Old Portsmouth. Rahul is a very welcoming, friendly and attentive host, who replied quickly to queries. The hotel is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, the bedroom was warm and the bed very comfortable. We booked breakfast, which was delicious and great value. He kindly gave us a parking permit for the street outside. We will definitely return!"
