Situated less than a 10-minute walk from the centre of Exeter and a 20-minute drive from the Dartmoor National Park, it is next to the beautiful St Davids Church and cemetery. Townhouse Exeter is a Grade II-listed Victorian property modernised to provide guests with en-suite rooms and free WiFi. Some rooms have feature fireplaces and all come with towels and free toiletries. This guest house is committed to use locally sourced fair trade, home made and free range products when possible. The antique shops and boutiques of Topsham are a 20-minute bus-ride away, and a wide array of water sports can be enjoyed in Exmouth. The M5 motorway is just over 10 minutes' drive away providing onward travel to Bristol and beyond. The major port of Plymouth is just under an hour away by car. Exeter University is 15 minutes' walk away and a 5-minute stroll from Exeter Central Railway Station. If booking with breakfast, our continental styled breakfast is served in-room, delivered straight to your door in the morning.

"Booking in was easy out of hours, couldn't find anyone when we wanted to leave though so just left the keys where we found them. So we didn't actually see any members of staff."
"Missed the box to tick for milk with my coffee. It wasn't made clear on booking that street parking is only free overnight. Which meant I still had to pay for parking during our stay. Breakfast was a little overpriced for what it was, could probably have got the same for less at a cafe."
"The room, bed and bathroom were all very comfortable. There were little extras, such as a small bedside radio playing gentle music when we went into the room, and a spray for your pillow to help you sleep. The owner was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat and visit."
