"A lovely couple, most engaging. Breakfast was excellent and included a lot of home / local produce. Donkeys were great fun, the house dog very sociable. A good base for us."

"We enjoyed our stay on the farm. Being around the animals was so relaxing. The breakfasts were lovely, with homemade bread and cakes, local cheese and homemade preserves. Our hosts provided useful guides to local walks and trips out further afield. The room was comfy and clean, with a useful fridge, and we had an outdoor terrace to sit out on."
"When we first arrived, we found our room to be cold. However, as soon as we mentioned it, our host provided a fan heater for us, which solved the problem."

"Le cadre est exceptionnel : au milieu de la campagne, la vue est très jolie, les ânes sont très câlins. La ville d'Avesne-sur-Helpe est néanmoins à deux pas. Stéphane et Barbara sont de parfaits hôtes, très accueillants, disponibles et conviviaux sans être trop intrusifs. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable, avec des produits frais, locaux et faits maison. La chambre est fraîche en plein été, propre et spacieuse."
