Situated in the town of Mortain, in the heart Grove Normand is the Dimora de la Poste, a charming resort just opposite the Cathedral Saint Evroult. Available are comfort and classic rooms that vary in size but are all equipped with private bathrooms with shower or bath, direct-line telephone, desk and TV. La Table de Saint-Vital, the albergo restaurant, features creative regional cuisine inspired by the products of the territory and the seasons. Chef Frédéric Cornu preserves the tradition and flavour of authentic Normande cuisine. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evening, Monday evening/noon and Thursday evening. Mandatory reservation. In the warmer months, guests can enjoy a meal or a drink on the panoramic terrace. The surrounding region of the Complesso Alberghiero de la Poste is rich in beauty and history just waiting to be discovered. Just 40 minutes from the residence is the extraordinary Mont Saint Michel.

"Very easy to find with ample free car parking. The staff are lovely and speak good English. There is a lift available. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, quiet and well appointed. Ours had a balcony and a lovely view of the mountains and a waterfall. There was also deer below our balcony."
