"Excellent location, lovely garden & area, the kitchen was very well equipped, the host provided lots of information and advice. The sauna was great. The hall with a place to put all snow gear was very handy. The curtains blocked out all the light for sleeping. Lots of space. There’s a big window overlooking the back garden so it’s handy to keep an eye on the kids."

"The beds were very uncomfortable. The couch wasn’t that comfortable either. It wasn’t safe for young kids as there were knives and sharp items in many drawers. Each time we thought we had them all up high, we would find more. It was very cluttered. There were small batteries lying about. It was very dusty so we were sneezing a lot. Most of the cups and plates were chipped so be careful. The sleds provided were all a bit broken so we couldn’t use them."

"Great location away from the centre but close enough to get to places with ease Lots of space, comfy beds, very well stocked kitchen supplies and a washer and dryer. Lovely garden and cosy sauna. The info provided by the host is very handy with nearby aurora walks and even which sausages and mustard to buy! Thank you Annett x"

"Beautiful surroundings, like something out of a fairytale. The house is lovely as well and has everything you need. A great place to relax after a full day of attractions in the city and nearby areas. It’s important, however, to have a car available. The host is very flexible and helpful. We spent a wonderful time there as two families — four adults and two children. If we come back here again, we will definitely choose Terra Ultima!"

"Location was excellent if you have a car Sauna was fantastic My children played in the backyard on sleights for hours every day Beds were comfortable and laundry and drier worked perfectly which in winter with snow and small children is an addded bonus It was expensive, it is Lapland in Christmas, but totally worth for once in a lifetime experience"

"Beautiful home, well equipped and situated away from the commercialisation in a lovely suburban street next to a forest. Warm, cosy and suitable for a family trip. Space to dry wet clothes, cook, chill out and if lucky like we’re play in the snow ‘at home’ in the nice garden space. Annett was so helpful and gave advice and info before and during the trip. Best to hire a car for total freedom but we did manage with taxis. We imagined it would be a great spot for a summer trip also. Recommend the Arktikum Museum to learn more about this fascinating place."

"Loved that we had our very own sauna and the kids had the space of the front and back yards to play in the snow. They also had Netflix on the TV so was a nice way to relax in the evenings. Had lots of things that you could use as a family such as flasks, metal skewers, lunchboxes, sledges, etc."

"Wasn’t easily accessible with buses etc so needed to pay for taxis if you hadn’t rented a car but we didn’t mind this to get a great location."

"The house is well-equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the sauna. The area is delightful, peaceful and on the edge of town. Annett and Eva-Marie were both very helpful."

"The cleaning could be better. There were dust-balls in some cupboards, a pair of dirty pants in the bedroom waste-paper bin and grease marks on the sheets."
