"We booked last minute as a family of 5 with 3 young children and were incredibly happy with Casa Azul. There are lovely walks near by, and it is incredibly safe and cosy inside. The host was very friendly and understanding and hopefully if we find ourselves back on Santo Antão we will definitely stay at Casa Azul again, Very clean, very comfortable - all 5 of us slept very well indeed. It is beneath a restaurant, although it wasn't too loud at all, and as a bonus the food there is delicious."

"I had a great time staying at Casa Zul. The views are absolutely beautiful, overlooking the mountains and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Another big plus is the restaurant above the property, where they serve really delicious food. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Paul or Santo Antão."

"I was collected at the port, brought to the hotel, and given a warm welcome. Breakfast was great, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel owner invited me, as a solo traveller, to join him and his wife, her sister and brother-in-law, and a family friend on a day out that included a walk to Faja d'Agua and lunch with them. I was very touched by such a kind gesture it made for an exceptional stay on Brava island. I appreciated this so much."

"The people working there was so kind and helpful! They prepared food for us when we wanted it (really good food), room was big and clean, wifi was ok. The water in the shower has warm water but poor pressure."

"It's a secluded apartment which cuts out noise and gave me privacy, which was much appreciated. It had everything I needed for my stay: good bed, clean bathroom, cooker, fridge. Staff are super friendly and with that empathy which makes communication possible even if you don't share a language."
