"As our flight was cancelled, we booked this apartment on very short notice. Everything went well. The location is on the Plato, so it is very central which is convenient. Even so, nights were tranquil. The large bed very comfortable, the small one less comfortable. Very clean. The owner was so nice and accommodating. We can absolutely recommend Apart Nel!"

"Excellent! Even on very short notice (we booked the night before arrival) they arranged an early check in and a person to pick us up at the airport. Carlos, who drove us to town, gave us a few tips on what to do in the afternoon and suggested where to get money, as it was our first day. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. It's in the middle of Plató, a central and lively neighbourhood, which is very pleasant to explore on foot. Recommended!"

"Lovely, spacious, functional, tasteful and clean apartment. Everything worked well. I have to give extra credit to senhor Carlos who came to rescue me after I accidentally locked myself out on the balcony (please be careful!!!!). I would stay here again"

"The location is really great. Lots of restaurants nearby. The decoration is not like the pictures showed but it’s still nice."

"It would have been better to specify that keys are in a key box and it’s a self-check in apartment. Nel sent me a message giving me the main entrance code but never said it was in a key box. So I looked everywhere and couldn’t find anywhere to enter the code."

"The hosts Nelida and Adelino are very friendly and easy to talk to. They will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Adelino helped me organize transportation to the airport with a taxi driver called Fred (if I remember correctly) and he also put me in touch with an agency where I could plan part of my trip to Fogo."

"Sometimes it takes a while for the hosts to see your message and respond. Also, on arrival, I waited in the airport for about an hour not knowing if they were going to pick me up as planned. In the end it all worked out fine."

"Modern flat with everything you may need: well equipped kitchen, bathroom, warm water ... The internet is also very good and fast (incl for work and meetings). The bedroom is smartly located facing the courtyard where there is no street noise. Finally the location is perfect right in the middle of the Plateau."

"The bed had springs which were really uncomfortable, to say the least. I still went twice to this apartment (before and then after my stay in Tarrafal) because I believe it has a really good price/value and there is nothing else to say about this flat, but I really hope that mattress will be "upgraded" eventually..."
