"Colazione sontuosa, posizione onestamente un po fuorimano ma grazie allo staff la cosa non si sente assolutamente, A parte un disguido iniziale sul pick-up dalla stazione dei treni, lo staff, in particolar modo Ahmed, è stato di grandissimo aiuto, in particolar modo perche una delle nostre figlie si è ritrovata malata e la flessibiltà nella gestione sia dei tour che dei tempi è stata encomiabile."

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"Benny was very friendly and accommodating but English/communication was difficult. Simple, rustic and clean. Beautiful outside bed on the verandah."

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

A mi me encanto todo, sobre todo a mis hijos el espacio es ideal para los niños.

Cleanliness could be improved. Flies and mosquitoes due to location. You need to keep fly and mosquitoes repellent

"O familie frumoasă și ospitalieră administrează casa această confortabilă și plină de căldură. Ne-a plăcut foarte mult vacanța în Galautas! În special Spatioase dormitoare cu paturi largi și lenjerie de un alb imaculat, o sală de mese bine amenajată și un balcon care oferă priveliște splendidă. Sincer recomand!"

"La posizione Immersa nel verde, fa parte di un piccolo complesso di campagna, tre edifici di cui due per gli ospiti, per arrivare si percorre una strada di campagna con piccole, splendide case tradizionali L' interno del cottage è tutto in legno, confortevole, speciale. Il bagno è esterno. Essendo in aperta campagna non c' è inquinamento luminoso e se il cielo è sereno si vedono tantissime stelle, mai visto un cielo così stellato in vita mia, neanche nel deserto Consigliatissimo"

"La posizione con vista sulle cime innevate. Meraviglioso. La camera comoda con letti confortevoli e camino che ci hanno gentilmente acceso la sera."

"La signora ci ha fatto sentire proprio a casa, parla italiano e ci ha accolto come se ci conoscesse da sempre, di una gentilezza e simpatia unica. Tutto molto pulito e curato, sia le stanze che l'esterno. Stanze comode con balcone e anche il bagno molto comodo e con piatto doccia (non scontato in Albania),parcheggio gratis disponibile nella struttura, vicina al mare a 10 minuti a piedi e al lungo mare di Durazzo. La zona è tranquilla e silenziosa, letti comodi, si dorme bene. Ci tornerò sicuramente se ricapito a a Durazzo."

"L'accomodation si trova in una zona che a me è piaciuta molto, bucolica direi, circondata da dolci colline con case sparse e campi coltivati. L'appartamento era stato chiaramento preparato per accogliermi nel miglior modo possibile, le finestre erano un po' aperte per far scorrere la brezza, il pane appena sfornato aveva un profumo che mi ha riportata a casa, le uova ed il latte nel frigo. Gli spazi sono molto ampi ed è tutto in ordine e a portata di mano. Ho goduto dello spazio fuori dove potevo cenare e fare colazione con il rumore della brezza fra gli alberi e le cicale, una delizia. L'host è stato sempre gentilissimo e molto disponibile, mi ha dato ottimi consigli su cosa fare anche se la zona non è delle più turistiche. Molto silenzioso e circondato di agapanthus bianchi e blu, incantevole!"

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."

"Great location close to town but away from the noise. Good facilities with ice cold air con and use of kitchen. Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic value for money compared to everything else in the area."

I'm a bit of a wuss and didn't enjoy the cold shower. (the only thing that stopped me giving a 10) Oddly the next door neighbour started playing really loud music at 7.00 a.m. on two of the mornings I was there, although I understand this won't be a problem moving forward.
