"Incredible and peaceful hotel. Yes the road is a bit difficult but take it slow and it's not that bad. Once there you will be treated to great food, excellent staff and a little slice of peace in Rwanda. It is expensive for Rwanda, but you do get what you pay for and in this case it is a large room in a beautiful setting and exceptional service. Great birdwatching, swimming and seeing Lake Kivu at its finest"

"The restaurant is close to the rooms and some guests don't understand their volume in the early morning. to be fair the hotel has put up a sign to try and negate this but this may always be a bit of an issue albeit very minor"

"I loved the cooking and the way the cook helped us. It is very peaceful and the bed was comfortable."

"The food is ridiculously expensive. There were power shortages. The road leading to the place is absolutely awful. No reading lamps by the bed."
