Bed & Breakfast in Camerun

"The apartments are in fact luxury ones with plenty of space and amenities like sauna and separate living/sleeping room."

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

The price is really good.I have no complain.

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"The view, the excellent food and the ambiance made this a really lovely stay. The owner and staff are helpful and friendly. There are some really nice touches in the decor and it feels private and relaxing. The bed was comfy and the private shower was appreciated!"

"We had a pleasant stay for our ski week. Ski slopes are very close and can be reached within minutes by foot. Our host was very kind and helpful in everything. The restaurant under the accomodation serves delicious food, perfect for after ski dinners. No noise can be heard above from restaurant. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, we had everything needed for our daily routine. We will probably return later on."

We didn't experience any negatives.

"It's a beautiful hotel 10 out of 10. So comfortable and pretty. Very clean and you can have a beautiful view of the Nile. I absolutely recommend this place. It's the best choice if you decide to stay in this hotel. And Hamo is sooo nice and thoughtful. An excellent good cook as well. The breakfast he made is so delicious!! Love this hotel ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

"Very large comfortable room, clean and nice, kitchen available. Proprietor was very kind and helped me when I didn't manage to open the door."

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"Soggiornare ad Avalon è un'esperienza completa: quel luogo è tutto giusto: ci sono i ganci per appendere gli asciugamani o i vestiti lì dove dovrebbero stare, c'è tutto il necessario che serve in cucina per prepararsi da mangiare, le camere sono bellissime, i bagni superlativi, ogni dettaglio è fatto e curato con amore. Si vede e si percepisce. Stare ad Avalon è straconsigliatissimo!"

Assolutamente niente. Lì, è tutto meraviglioso (il giardino, la casa, le proposte, la casita, lo studio, Anya la propriertaria,...). Non cambierei una virgola a quel luogo!

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."

Difficile trovare la location di notte.

"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"Le stanze sono accoglienti e pulite. La signora che ci ha accolto è venuta incontro alle nostre esigenze e ha anche preparato una cena con piatti tipici della tradizione creola. La colazione buona servita sempre dalla signora, che si è premurata di sapere se avessimo esigenze particolari. È un posto per famiglie, ma io e la mia amica ci siamo trovate bene."

Arrivate alla struttura, abbiamo scoperto che il riscaldamento era a pagamento (€7). Forse sarebbe meglio segnalarlo al momento della prenotazione.

"Lo Staff è stato molto gentile e direi professionale. Ottima colazione e ristorante al piano terra cibo buono."

Il problema è che no si può pagare con la carta di credito, questo è stato un problema. In banca non si riesce a prelevare, all Aeroporto idem, son dovuto andare all Hotel Sheraton perché hanno un ATM. Non è finita qui... porto i dinari in hotel ma non va bene perché loro con il cambio ufficiale ci rimettono. E volevano un cambio che dicevano loro... avrei dovuto aggiungere altre 150 euro.. ok alla fine gli ho fatto fare un bonifico dalla società dove lavoro...

La colazione buona servita sempre dalla signora, che si è premurata di sapere se avessimo esigenze particolari. È un posto per famiglie, ma io e la mia amica ci siamo trovate bene."

"Top!!! Appartamento con poche camere, delizioso, a pochi metri dalla spiaggia, estremamente pulito con una comoda piccola piscina. Il personale gentile ed educato. Il valore aggiunto è sicuramente Anilza, che discrezione, educazione e con un perfetto italiano è pronta a consigliarti ed aiutarti a rendere il soggiorno unico. Inoltre cucina benissimo. Se tornassi a Vilankulos non avrei dubbi e tornerei a casa Mozita!"

"Gorgeous view from the apartment! There's a big window showing the beautiful mountains below. Beautiful interior design throughout!! The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

Personale molto freddo e particolarmente interessato a vendere tour e family dinner. Esperienza poco autentica, sembra di stare in ostello e non in homestay.

A sower in the bathroom would have been nice.

"Accomodation with history. The room was very nice and cozy. The owner was very nice, she cooked breakfast and dinner for us and it was possible to buy water there. When I was sick she made me tea and snack which I could take to the room. We had no car and they took us to Mavrovo. We really appreciate this! The location is also very good - near to Medenica and near to horse farm."

All was great!

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."

Thin walls. There were noises from other people in the corridor/bathrooms/doors. The room could use a little decoration for cozier feeling.

Hamidy è stato un ospite sempre presente per ogni necessità e allo stesso tempo discreto, e ci ha dato ottimi consigli per il nostro soggiorno. Su richiesta preparano delle ottime colazioni! A 50 mt di distanza c’è una spiaggia rocciosa, mentre camminando per 5-10 min nel verde e fra i cavalli che pascolano liberi, si arriva a belle spiagge di sabbia"
