La stanza mancava di una base d'appoggio e di luci di cortesia. In generale era male illuminato. Le tende non erano pulite. Il bagno era piccolo, benché non mancasse di nulla. La struttura dispone di parcheggio, ma non è semplice da gestire (ci hanno chiamato nel pomeriggio per spostare la nostra, e noi per fortuna ci trovavamo in stanza, altrimenti non avremmo potuto)

"Borel is exception in my opinion, i have visited the property two times and enjoyed my stay each time. The location is perfect if you are looking for a place to rest, privacy, good security and comfort. Bonamousadi market is not far from the residence, very easy to get into the city if you want to."

From my experience, alot has improved. The internet speed is far better, reaction time for is very good, and the staffs are true human in their interaction with me. I think they have mastered the act of hospitality. I will visit again in my next trip.

Difficile trovare l'ingresso, sarebbe il caso di inviare una mappa agli ospiti per capire qual è l'ingresso (il secondo portone sulla destra del cortile) e mettere un'insegna. Fortunatamente, telefonando alla reception, lo staff mi ha subito aiutato

"l'Hotel è in una buona posizione per chi vuole soggiornare a Colombo per qualche giorno (nel nostro caso 2). Non esattamente in centro che però è raggiungibile in pochi minuti con uno dei tanti Tuktuk a disposizione. La camera scelta era molto spaziosa (soggiorno, 2 camere, 2 bagni, cucina). As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

Che sul sito, la struttura viene indicata a 12 km da Montreux, mentre in realtà è a più di 30 Km Questo non lo considero corretto!!!

I used a single room and there were not enough sockets . There were 2 bed side lamps and one didn't have a socket to plug in. I have to put the kettle on the floor. There was an extension wire, where tv,fridge etc were pluged in . Not very professional. More socket points in appropriate places will improve the standards.

"Great view from the terrace, comfortable queen size bed, quiet area. The kitchen is small but has all equipment. The shower pressure is low bit low. Owners are responding on the spot and live just the house above! Any problem, they respond rapidly."

The guy at reception messed up my check-out. He couldn't find my booking, said I must have done it privately, and even asked me what my room rate was! Then I told him it was on booking.com again and he said fine, you can go, (presumably cos my credit card guaranteed payment?) Then as I was about to go to the airport he called me back and said you still need to pay. But this is a fabulous place. That was just a minor frustration.
