Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. The lodge features a splash pool and uninterrupted views of Gansbaai harbour, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Most of the rooms offer a sea view and a private veranda. All rooms have a private bathroom which has either a bath or shower and complimentary body care products. The Saxon Restaurant serves home cooked meals made from fresh produce by arrangement only. Refreshments are served at the Saxon Arms pub including local wines from the surrounding Overberg region. Free Wi-Fi and private parking is available. Hermanus is a 40-minute drive from Saxon Lodge and the Cape Town International Airport is 147 km north of Gansbaai.

"Fantastico. La città di per sé ha ben poco da offrire ma questo Lodge è davvero un gioiellino. Persone cordiali e disponibili. Posto bello. A pochi passi dai pochi negozi e ristoranti. La stanza grande e funzionale. La colazione ottima."

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."

"We really enjoyed the accommodation. We were kindly welcomed right at our car for check-in and received plenty of helpful information and guidance. The room is beautiful, spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, (the bathroom is amazing!) The property is located on a farm, with lovely orchards and a beautiful garden, which we really enjoyed. It’s about 15 minutes from MQP airport; since we planned to leave very early, the host kindly packed our breakfast so we could enjoy it in our room before departing."
