Featuring a guesthouse has a communal centro massaggirkling pool with sun loungers, Anchor’s Rest is in seaside Hermanus. Whales can be viewed in season from the cliffs 150 metres away. All rooms have a patio with barbecue. The centro esteticocious rooms have light décor and a satellite TV. Each has a private entrance in the garden and one overlooks the mountains. The kitchenette offers a microwave and fridge and kitchenware is provided. The kitchenette has a gas cooker, fridge, microwave and cutlery/crockery. There is secure parking at the guesthouse All rooms have a private courtyard/garden with a barbecue. There are a few places to eat in the New Harbour, 10 minutes’ walk away. Many bars and restaurants are found in the Old Harbour, 5 minutes away by car. Hermanus Golf Course and the Blue Flag Grotto Beach are both under 8 km from Anchor’s Rest Guest House. Free parking is available on site and a shuttle can be arranged to Cape Town International Airport, 107 km away.

"Stanza ampia, ben arredata e pulita, provvista di ventilatore, stufetta elettrica e coperta scaldaletto (molto apprezzata visto che la temperatura esterna era freddina). Bel giardino curato con piscina disponibile per gli ospiti. Siamo stati accolti da Les che ci ha dato un caloroso benvenuto e ci ha spiegato bene la struttura e ci ha dato informazioni su Hermanus. Assolutamente consigliato!"

"The unit is very close to the cliff pathway. If you are a walker it is perfectly situated to go for long walks along the sea. Very cosy little place for two."

"The property is well located for New Harbour and the Whale Coast Mall, with a couple of supermarkets, is only a short drive away. Our room was attractively decorated, it had a small, private gated garden with patio table and chairs. The kitchen area had a fridge, microwave and gas hob. We didn’t cook anything but sat outside to eat a couple of times. All in all, it suited us well."
"There was some sort of mix up over the bookings and we arrived to be told the apartment we had booked back in August wasn’t available - even though I had received an email from the owner that very morning, whilst still in mid-air. They blamed Booking.com … We kept calm and, to be fair, the owner moved us into an apartment that apparently family or friends had been staying in, very quickly, but it wasn’t the best start to our holiday having just got off a 12 hour flight!"
