"Qadim is great for layovers. It is not my first time there. A throw of a stone from the Airport, it is super well located. Staff is competent, friendly and very supportive."

"The young man working on reception was helpful and welcoming. The young lady working in the breakfast room was friendly and efficient, and she spoke very good English. The breakfast was very good - good variety, including porridge, my favourite. The room was simply furnished but for a 2-night stay it was adequate. Most of all, the location was perfect for me: I had an early-morning flight, and I was able to walk to the airport with my bags in 10 minutes. Travel into the centre of Samarkand by bus from the airport was easy and very cheap. The buses are frequent."

"Amazingly friendly and helpful host, Damir. Met us from the train station and even walked us to the nearest restaurant, which was very nice. The hotel is 5 5-minute walk away from the airport, so, perfect for those arriving at or departing from Samarkand by air and wanting to be close to the airport. Damir also runs a tourist company, so, could organise all your travel, sightseeing and any other business or leisure needs while in Samarkand and beyond."
