"L'hotel Fauna è situato nella via Sarandi pedonalizzata, la più bella di Montevideo, comodo a tutte le attività come ristoranti, musei, monumenti ecc. I gestori sono di una gentilezza e disponibilità notevole così da rendermi la visita della città più profonda, la camera è molto bella e spaziosa, sempre a disposizione caffè e alcolici gratuiti. E' stata una permanenza perfetta. Molto consigliato."

"This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Ciudad Vieja in Montevideo. There are many bars and restaurants nearby as well as some lovely architecture. The rambla is just a few blocks away if you want to walk along the beach - and there is a lovely pedestrian walk to the plaza indepencia on the same street as the hotel."

"The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and spoke English fluently, in a country where this is not often the case. The facilities were excellent and the place was immaculate. Breakfast was not provided, but we had access to as many fresh bananas and apples as we wanted. The quality of the fruit in the bowl was better than what we saw in the shops in the area."
"I would have liked to be able to see into the street from the window of our room. Our window looked into an enclosed space, which was made to look nicer with lots of pot plants, and I appreciated that."
