"This probably isn't the hotel's fault, but someone must have either hacked them or booking.com as prior to my visit I kept getting whatsapp messages from random phone numbers (including USA and India) of people claiming to be forest cottages admin staff who required confirmation of my booking. I wasn't stupid enough to give these people my bank card details as Booking.com had already confirmed the booking, but it was annoying. I told hotel staff about this who seemed to already be aware of the issue."

"We had to wait 45 minutes after we reach the hotel at 4pm to have our room while it was supposed to be ready by 12pm."

"Very convenient and safe location. Very friendly front desk staff, initiated extra help and kindness. Very calm and lush environment despite being in a big city. Have nice and friendly priced food options. I now stayed in a regular room, but if I come back to Kampala and it won't be for work, I would love to book one of the cottages."
