"Our host, Moussa, is the single most lovely person I've met thus far in Zanzibar. If you're looking for an authentic, non-touristy, excursion, staying at Mama's house is a must. We were greeted with warmth and joy and were made to feel extremely comfortable. The food was great and Moussa even took time out of his day to sit and chat with us. An absolute gem of a place, you won't be disappointed."

"While my stay was short I really loved mamas house. It was a relaxing quiet place and the locals were friendly and welcoming. The host and his family were also very welcomining and very informative. I am happy to have spent my last night in zanzibar here."

"Everything was soo awesome. The room for guest had a very comfortable bed, smart tv and shower with hot water :) the garden is so lovely, i love plants a lot and this was really paradise for us. Our host speak english very well and is so nice, he is helpfull human and we really feel like in home. House is located near to Ston town. We can use dala -dala, 8 km and you can join wonderful beaches and a lot of different places. Is no in tourist place and we love it! When you decide chose Mama's house, you can live between local people, talk with them, see their culture and just have fun."
