"No question, the best hotel in Tobago - and not the most expensive. Great location in a beautiful private bay on the other end of the island from the developed area around the airport and Crown Point. Quite a small hotel, frequented by people who enjoy being away from it all - including birders and divers. The rooms all face the sea - you eat literally five metres from the beach. Glass-bottom boats available to take you on trips around the bay - to Little Tobago and Goat Island. The Dive Center is re-opening very soon having closed down during Covid. Reception very helpful in organising guides, taxis, transfers - and buying me a toothbrush to replace the one I left on the cruise ship!"

"The price of getting away from it all is a 90 minute drive from the airport - but it's a price well worth paying. Some times, as happens throughout parts of the Caribbean, seaweed arrives in quantity and mounts up on the beach. The hotel employs guys who remove it as fast as they can."

"Meals were great. Staff was very good. View and quiet was wonderful. Games and Books on site were an added bonus. I felt we could have gotten breakfast included for the price that we paid."

"The food was good but not great. The property is about a 90min drive from the airport- so far from the major restaurants/ activities. Also, there is a sudden deep drop off in the pool as opposed to a gradual decline to the deep end- be aware!"

"The secluded nature of the resort. It’s nestled in between Tobago’s mountain and a breathtaking view of the ocean. There were a lot of activities to do on the resort. Even the drive to the resort was super scenic! There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this resort. Friendly staff, great tasting food at the resort. Even Speyside has things to do if you want to get out a bit."

"If I had to say something “bad” it’s that there was sargassum seaweed for 2 days but the maintenance staff worked tirelessly to have it removed and it’s no fault of the resort itself. It was “bad luck” that I had to be there when it washed in the bay."
