"Micaval residence si trova proprio nel centro della città di Sao Tomé, molto pratico per spostarsi. Il quartiere era sicuro e tranquillo. Il personal era molto cordiale e gentile, particolarmente apprezzata la colazione."

"avevo previsto di restare solo una notte, ma alla fine ne ho fatte 7, dopo 4 giorni mi hanno fatto cambiare stanza e mi hanno messo in una più piccola che era molto sporca e la mattina alle 05:30 veniva acceso qualcosa che faceva un baccano incredibile e rendeva impossibile dormire. Non so se sia un problema in tutta l'isola o solo al Micaval residence, ma spesso mancava l'acqua. Soprattutto la sera per fare la doccia e quando c'era usciva veramente a gocce (portatevi lo shampoo secco se volete lavarvi i capelli)"

"Struttura pulitissima e ben attrezzata, in posizione molto centrale, buon wi-fi in tutte le aree, letto molto comodo, colazione eccellente, abbondante, con ottima frutta sempre fresca (e non solo). Ma il vero valore aggiunto della struttura è la gentilezza dell'host, Pedro, un portoghese che vive lì da vari anni, che parla un eccellente italiano, e mi ha aiutato molto a pianificare la mia vacanza sull'isola, mi ha consigliato e aiutato, sia prima del mio arrivo che durante il soggiorno, ed è venuto sempre incontro alle mie esigenze (si era offerto di venirmi a prendere - gratis - in aeroporto, e molte ore dopo il check-out, oltre a custodirmi i bagagli, mi ha anche dato la possibilità di farmi una doccia, fornendomi pure gli asciugamani...)"

"Great location and a comfortable bedroom with AC. The host was super helpful, by picking us up from the airport and dropping us off the following morning. A great breakfast on the guesthouse terrace, served by a super sweet lady."

"The breakfast was outstanding with lots of fruit, as well as eggs and bread. Just delicious. The manager was super responsive--he always responded to texts within minutes. Additionally, he gave me a ride to/from the airport. He also helped set up hiking up Sao Tome Peak. WiFi was good and reliable. It is also within walking distance to downtown Sao Tome and lots of stores and restaurants. Bed was comfortable."

"Most of the time I stayed there, there was no water. (I was not able to take a shower the whole time I was there...). Additionally, the shower and floor were not very clean. Also, I paid for a tour of the island, but found it to be overpriced--especially since there was no cacao tour--even though that was supposed to be a part of the tour..."

"Even though we stayed for one night only, we enjoyed our stay so much. Waldimiro is super friendly and helpful. He answers all the questions through WhatsApp. He also provided free airport transfers in and out which were very helpful for us. The room itself is basic but clean and had strong WIFI and AC. Highly recommended."
