"Best hotel in town safely located in the government district. Clean and well kept. Very friendly personell, big smiles all the time. We arrived after midnight and were warmly welcomed. They arranged for airport transfers and helped us plan our visits of Dakar with nice suggestions. But most important was the relentless effort of the general manager, Ms. Ryana Dallank, to retrieve lost baggage from the airport. Without her help our daughter would have had to go on the following cruise without her personal belongings. Many thanks again to Ryan for her ingenuity!"

Dakar is relatively safe (perhaps not for a woman alone late evening or night - but that's not limited to Dakar ...), and the surroundings of the hotel are fine too, with a short nice walk to both the Sunrise as well as the Sunset side of the peninsula."
