"Marstrand out of season is dead. We arrived around 4 and by the time we had checked in and settled in our rooms there were no restaurants left open on the island and we had to go back to the mainland to find something to eat in the supermarket. The caretaker at the hotel kindly said we could use the breakfast room to have "dinner". Overall he was very helpfull."

"Breakfast was delicious! We especially loved the outdoor seating for it. The room was very quaint and adorable, and the view was spectacular. The staff was very friendly with things like answering my questions about Systembolaget on the island, and also how there was a luggage room where we could keep our bags after checkout if we wanted to stay on the island a few more hours on our last day."
"The rooms aren't that sound proof, as you can hear very clearly when people are in the hall, but that is understandable and was not a big bother at all :)"

"Everything was great - the room, the view, the breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful. After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about the window, but our room had 2 windows that we could open, and the room temperature was perfect."
"There isn't much soundproofing, but it's a wooden building (I think) so that's not surprising. We only stayed 1 night and didn't have any noisy neighbors so it was quite alright."

"Hade lite otur med tialetten som inte gick att spola. Det fixade de snabbt, men efter ytterligare något toalettbesök så var den ur funktion igen. Hol i taket (snedtak) som var lappat med en plåtbit. Mitt i natten lossnade klistret/dubbelhöftande tejp, och plåten åkte i golvet med en skräll. Tog ända till morgonen innan vi förstod vad som hänt."
"Dessa gator är som hemma för mig. Som seglare har jag/vi gått i den här mysdoftande miljön 100-tals gånger. Och här träffade jag min hustru för 40 år sedan - precis utanför entrén till hotellet. Frukosten var enkel men ok. Men ganska trångt i salen."
"Att (städerskan) hade vänt en fin seglarbild uppochned. Och att det inte fanns några vatten/kaffemuggar på rummet. Men kaffe fanns, som vi alltså inte kunde dricka."
