"Friendly and flexible host. Kitchen was equipped enough for cooking a real meal. Washing machine. Wifi was good enough for work. Airport transfer smooth both ways. I enjoyed his own tour (he offers several), saw what I ewanted to see. Nice view, for chilling on balcony. Shop with basics and beer a charming 20-minute walk through a local area. Finally, a really cool anti-mosquito kitchen door curtain which closes with magnets! JR a good guy."

"Lily was very friendly and helpful (as well as her staff - Thomas, Danny, little Lily, Wesley, Clay and Peggy) in connecting us with the lovely local villages of Ghatere and Kuzi on Kolombungarra as well as taking us to the various townships of Gizo, Ringgi and Noro and cooking us beautiful fish straight out of the sea, for dinner. The colours of the sea are spectacular and we saw dolphins on several of our trips. We were researching family history in relation to the loss of the Esperanza in 1880"

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."
